Don’t put expectations on anyone in your life, including your date. Go into a date being in the moment, and enjoy the date for what it is without thinking about the next date or what may or may not develop. If the date night convo isn’t going well, relax and be in the moment and appreciate and love the fact that people are different from you. If you sense your values are different from your date’s, be in the moment and appreciate the scenery of the venue, or the flavor of the wine, or a million other things in the experience of that moment. When you master the above, you will have the confidence to go into a date knowing 100% that whatever happens, whatever he/she looks like, whatever the other person’s mood etc., you’ll be able to enjoy or appreciate something about the experience. And then every date will always be enjoyable.
