I second this, people keep falling into this Toronto Dream by following well settled vloggers and youtubers. Toronto is a hub, was always a hub where people from all over Ontario drive to work. It has been like this for the past 10 years, Ontario is full of good cities, Kitchener Waterloo, Hamilton, London, Windsor to name a few with ample opportunities and peaceful living.

Cancer in family - my brother, if you care about your future family, please stand firm in rejecting the rishta from your dad side. The fact that 2 siblings (your dad and his sister) had a similar type of cancer, your chances maybe up there, but if you marry back into that gene pool, your kids are almost certain to get the same illness. You’re signing up your kid for a death penalty by doing this. Imagine if they learned that you knew the cost but you married anyways because you didn’t want to break your dying aunts heart. You think they would care about her when they are unable to live a quality life because of your choices. Please be fair to your future family and think about them as well, not just your current family.

For anyone coming to the West it's pretty much the same principle that applies. Bigger cities Toronto, NY , LA etc are similar crowded like Karachi and Mumbai. These are old cities but in US and Canada there are other cities that equally developed and have jobs and business unless you are in a specific business. I moved to US 25 years ago and lived i. Mid rise city and was able to survived. As far as the details. In US you can see Pakistanis everywhere in retail job but retails are usuall the lowest paying jobs and you can always find work if you are willing to work and not lazy.
@saif_imtiazАй бұрын
For the first question: Try considering moving to USA. I don’t mean places like New York or LA but even cities such as Houston or Chicago would be good choices because you open doors to a lot of career opportunities and also save on rent. Also salaries in USA are higher than anywhere else in the world. Lastly, if you are a Canadian citizen (not someone with PR) then getting your employer to sponsor your work visa in US is fairly easy than for any other nationality (read on TN sponsored work visa)

The advice about comprehensive medical screening is very important. My mom has always had this thing where she would get severe breathing problems in the summer. We would treat it with antibiotics and steam. Someone recommended an allergy screening and she was diagnosed with three allergies and given a two year vaccine course. One year in and that problem is completely gone. We suffered for years where the problem was so easily solvable.

Regarding Canada, you asked for advice for people who have arrived there or are planning to move. I relocated in 2022, and my first year was the toughest. However, things started improving after that. The first thing I decided was not to move to Toronto due to its harsh weather and other factors. If you’re capable and determined, Canada has a lot to offer. I chose to move to Vancouver, which is beautiful. Having lived in Karachi my whole life, Toronto felt like a concrete jungle, similar to Karachi. Moving to Vancouver was a leap of faith-I didn’t know anyone here, as all my relatives and friends live in Toronto. Since moving, I’ve met many people in Vancouver who relocated from Toronto, and they’re happy with their decision. Many of them wish they had moved to Vancouver directly. So, my advice is to consider other cities in Canada carefully. If none appeal to you, you might even think about moving to the U.S. if you already hold a Canadian passport.

to the lady who is facing harassment from someone online. Contact a good lawyer preferably a criminal lawyer. make sure it is a good law firm. Direct complaint could be filed before the relevant court and FIA would be forced to take action. Even the FIA officers might themselves be implicated for not taking the action. I am telling you this as an experienced criminal lawyer. I know people refrain from going to courts but trust me these law enforcement officers are super afraid of courts because it could result in them losing their jobs.

I immigrated to Canada during COVID in 2021 from the UAE. Although I had a stable semi-government job for 12 years, I still decided to take the leap. Fortunately, I came with a job offer in hand. Things aren’t as great as they were in the UAE, but it takes a few years to get used to the weather and other aspects of life here. I do agree that inflation and high rents make it tough for a middle-class person to sustain. This is why many people take up side hustles, work two jobs, or rely on their spouse for support. One thing that also helps is to move to other cities or towns where rents are lesser than downtown (If one works remotely thats a great option).

@@rabi_ahmed_canada I’ve been here 20 years. There’s no such thing as getting “used to” of the weather. You either like snow and cold for 6 months or you don’t. @rabi_ahmed_canadaАй бұрын
@zeeshanshaikh4508 I agree that extreme weather, whether hot or cold, can be unbearable for most, though some people embrace it. My point was that immigrating to a cold place from a hot one (like in my case) can be a shock at first, as your body isn't used to freezing temperatures. Over time, you learn how to dress appropriately, anticipate snowstorms, and adapt. With experience, you're better prepared mentally and physically for the next winter. I hope this clarifies what I meant! :)

But with the weather, taxes, expenses and the direction in which this country is going I’m also unsure of what the next step should be. I have learned a lot from you and really thanks for that. But, one thing I would like to correct is that, from many weeks you are constantly mentioning that Dubai has officially closed visas for Pakistani People. This is exactly not the case, Actually due to the increased numbers of people staying even after their visas are expired, begging and illegal workers in Dubai. Dubai government has officially closed the visas for South Asians including Pakistani, Indians and Bangladeshis for some time, so that they can find out the those people as much as they can and deport them back to their countries. For this, they are giving people leniency like: Asking those people to showed up to authorities by themselves and they will not be charged any kind of fine or something and will deport to their country in a respectful way etc. But yes, after that the Dubai visas are not that easy as it was before. People will struggle much to get visas much, but that's not the case that Pakistani people has totally banned. Note, all the information that I mentioned is I listened in Syed Muzamil Hasan Zaidi's video, and not my own personal experience. But, he is also such a sensible person, so I think it's worth mentioning. I'm 21 from Karachi, never travelled. But, I would love to do it one day when I have the finances and permission. Sorry for such a long comment but I just wanted to mention each and every detail.

Maybe I did not hear properly, but you mentioned that Canada is going to issue only 27,000 visas till 2027. No. That is not true. Its around 300.000 to 400.000 per year.

Oh Vietnam is a really cool place. I would suggest you visit Cu Chi where the famous underground tunnels were, which the Viet Cong used to fight the American military. The Amerixans were so angry at not being able to fight village rebels that they dropped the banned agent orange that contaminated the water. It is not a fancy place like Hanoi, or Danang but still something that we all need to learn about. You will have to go to Ho Chi Minh city to do a day trip to Cu Chi tunnels. You can go under the tunnels as a tourist.

Old people in Pakistan don’t work because of their life style. If you see the life style and diet choices of these countries they exercise, walk and built healthy life style. They want stay active and enjoy life.

And God forbid if you ask old people in Pakistan to move and get grocery or even a glass of water by themselves, you’re immediately considered a bad human being and a laanti insan. It’s so stupid. Old people in Pakistan need to get a life and not depend on others for small things. They love to become immobile before actually getting old enough to be bedridden. Astaghfirullah.

People from India have bought work permits for 50k Cad as Popeyes franchise workers, and all the locations where they were supposed to work are closed for ever. So they got scammed by their own people, and now they are applying for asylum. This is a failure of the system where opportunists have taken advantage of.

1:32:13 A stupid question asked since the person should be well verses between Korea and Pakistan that is their Birth growth and young generation ratio. Korea is among countries like Japan where people are not interested in making babies leading to a significant decline of workforce which gives more time and job opportunities for old workforce. Also the food and culture of both countries are world apart which impacts health, body and mental functions.

Junaid bhai and the rest of the fellow Ask Ganjiswaggers, AVOID using scented candles, When you tend to light a candle you're just liberating the fragrance chemicals but there are other various Toxic chemicals being released which are known to be Human Carcinogens. Toulene & Benzene are the most notorious ones found in these candles.

Agreed with your small talk observation, men in Pakistan has maula jutt complex when it comes to dealing with women. However, women here as well have papa ki princess syndrome, who talks about getting married one week in a relationship. Our population needs a mindset and exposure change earthquake.

38:22 in early 2000s, PTV had granny sunny aur science, arty, kids court, pocket money show, and a bunch of other great kids-oriented programs which unfortunately didn't get any hype because star plus and sony were most-watched channels back then. they did make good content, but people had other priorities. obviously, they had to be shut down.
