Overdrive Transmission - How to test the Wiring

There are 3 or 4 switches in the wiring to get your overdrive to engage. If any one of those has failed your overdrive won't engage. In this video we will run you through the steps to test the wiring going to your overdrive.

How can i check if i hace power in mi wiring in a 2010 sebring i have problem whit the transmision only goes in 2nd gear omhs are good on the pin but no power in wiring but i dont know how works if whit the computer somebody can help me please..

Hey moss, I'm trying to diagnose an od problem. Know how to test a 46re wiring harness? Can't seem to find any info on how to do this..replaced the trans and it'll shift into od but barely moves when I press on the gas. Just downshifts to pick up speed then does it all over again. Trans is definitely fine.

You have clutch wear, whether it's a manual or automatic transmission, main difference being that if it's a manual transmission, it's a simple clutch replacement and if we're talking about an automatic, you need to take the transferbox apart and replace wet clutches or band brakes, well just look after which clutch is burnt and replace that one. You may wanna replace all of them just to be sure. What most often causes these problems in an automatic transmission, is not maintaining the oil level!

Hey Moss, I have a 03 hyundai accent auto trans, it runs perfectly fine but every now and then when i am on the highway the rpm reach all the way to 4000 while just doing 60 mph, in normal it stays in 2000 rpm and also sometimes when i stop at lights then the rpm reach all the way to 5000 but the car is just running like 20 mph.I did some research and found faulty overdrive wiring might be the problem but my mechanic says i need to change the trasmission , so please suggest me something thanks
