I'm at 11,300 for the mileage of my 2019 400 Ninja...I'll be doing the air filter and plugs at 12,000...I always clean the chain when dirty and respray the chain at 400 and I check the slack in the chain too...so far the bike is a terrific 'Rocketeer'...and thanks for your video, because it all looks pretty easy to do the filter and plugs. ninja on. PS: it's always good to disconnect the battery when doing any service that may require using metal tools in tight places.

Is measuring the spark plug pressure with the torque wrench even needed or is it important?
@AlQaeda1982 жыл бұрын
in all honesty no i hand tightened all the ones in my car and were 5k miles later so

I can't get that one plug undone. Not the one with the red clamp but the other one. How did you do it?
@kevinnguyen75893 жыл бұрын
Are you asking about the one at 1:44? I remember that one gave me a super hard time but I believe there was a release clip on the gas tank side that you press and then you pull out the plug. It wasn't an easy plug so take your time

What's the part number on the led flasher bulbs you used ? Thanks
Do you fully drain your tank before removing or let the negative pressure keep the fuel in?
@kevinnguyen75893 жыл бұрын
I did not drain the tank
@PDPIE10293 жыл бұрын
Theres a check valve that keeps the fuel in. You may get a few drips but that’s it. Good luck!!

According to the service manual the recommended interval is every 7.6k miles for spark plugs

careful with those aluminum cased relay not to make contact with any metal in the bike. I once used those and it kept frying my fuses and stalled my scooter. Solution: wrap it with electrical tape
@adelgado89172 жыл бұрын
Could've just washed the air filter, wait for it dry up and put new sealant spray on it.
