oh yea, waiting for Undead Legacy and Apocalypse now. Rebirth and Asia Mod is definetly worth a try. Never heard of them before but looks very interesting. So far i have to play my own modded version of Better Vanilla :P

I do think if you are not playing an overhaul, then your own mod compilation will likely be the best. :)

Modders are POG, and usually do this on top of RL stuff taking up most of their time. Why peeps get upset with them I have no idea.... They're basically saints in my book, and deserve nothing but support and respect. Tip your modders! And before getting upset with them go play something else. Their love and talent of some of the same games I play usually leads to crazy amounts of amazing/fun/new/expanded gameplay over vanillas and I'm grateful that they're just willing to share their additions and usually for free! And thanks for the great info as usual SnowBee!

I played SPider's True Survival mod back in 2016. Its great to see Spider revamping the overhaul mod and releasing it to be current. It was by far my most favorite mod back then.

Fantastic video as always SnowBee! One request. Could you give your logo 2 more seconds on screen? It went by very quick. Very awesome new logo! You might not have all the details but @2:47 on the Better Vanilla segment. The notes say "Tools, Melee weapons, and ammo are barred with the BetterVanillaItem Level. Any idea what that is?

Doing some digging, it appears there are quests that you need to do to obtain "BetterVanillaItem" levels. I am guessing then crafting is blocked until certain quests are done. The more I look at the mod, it does appear quite comprehensive and certainly requires some digging into.

Hey bramb Actually I have stated I usually answer all my comments... at least I do read them. Usually :) I know that District Zero mod has removed the invisible wall, and I think Joke Mod. Both are excellent mods that I have done "what is" videos on. Just look back the past month in my videos, or check out snobeegaming.com. I would not be surprised if Darkness Falls has, but I have not had a chance to check yet.

Darkness falls is broken ive tried it 5 times everytime i cant craft, get quests, reload weapons, etc

Hi Adam Pretty sure it is something else. That is quite a game breaking problem, and many people, even youtubers doing series are not having that problem. The biggest problems we see with overhaul mods are players sometimes using the incorrect version. Are you sure you are using Alpha 21.1 stable? Otherwise, definitely download the mod again, hopefully that will fix the problem?

@@SnowBee yes i'm in alpha 21.1 stable and darkness falls is the only mod overhaul it happens to so it's either the version i've tried (i've tried the ones gns, and genosis are using) or something is broken with the mod

Why do they need a permadeath setting. Just die once and quit. What a weird thing to focus on.

Well, I know many players that play it do want it. I guess it was the easiest thing to focus on in the patch to advertise it. Still, yeah, there are other things to try get fixed that I would consider more important.
