So when you get right down to it, Overhaul walked right into the League Of Villains' HQ, mocked their leader right to his face, told them to make him their leader instead, blew one of them up, removed another's arm, then threw a business card at them and walked away. Overhaul probably has one of the best villain introductions I've seen in a long time.

Here is my full explanation of Overhaul's power. It is rather spoiler free, because it is only review of the quirk, not the person, but it still your choice if you want to read it. Overhaul's quirk is called the same as his villain name, it allows him to disassemble and reassemble everything he touches with minimum one finger, breaking the bindings of matter on a molecular level and reshaping it in a new way. When he touches something or someone, he can either destroy it (partially or completely), shape it into some new form (change shape or fuse two things together) or restore it to previous state after breaking it down. That last ability is crucial to the plot line but I won't totally spoil it. The crucial fact is that by reconstructing someone's body, Overhaul can bring it to its ideal state, meaning he can cure illnesses and heal wounds. More pragmatic application of this power is the fact that by touching something, Overhaul can manipulate its physical structure, thus shaping environment into forms favorable for him and hostile to his enemies. Pretty broken.

R.I.P Magne, Mr. Compress get easily defeated as well and somehow they managed to make his lose his quirk at that moment, hopefully the anime-only sees now that Overhaul is not someone to be underestimating it and comparing his villain mindset of Shigaraki, this episode shows that he's on another level, he not only have a ambition, but a plan to execute it as well. All Might behavior of Mirio and Deku meeting was kinda weird....I wonder if he's hiding something and well we have Sir Nighteye and he's into comedy I guess...and Deku managed to do worse than Mirio regarding jokes, anyway, we see how it goes next week.

This episode really did show the difference in dynamic of the LOV and the S.H., chisaki wrote his underlings death off as unfortunate and just business, while tomura and the others took magnes death and compress's maiming personal, the LOV were friends while the shie hassaiki were just pawns.

Very well, I bet that many after seeing Magne's death they thought: "What did I just see?" We have already seen intense moments in Boku No Hero Academia such as, The Nomu destroying Eraser Head's arm, Stain thrusting his blade into the brain of a Nomu, Deku almost dying against Muscular, All for One perforating the stomach of Beast Jeanist, Dabi burning homeless people and now Magne blowing into pieces by Overhaul's quirk. With that last example, this anime should be considerated R-18.

So I think it’s important to say this now. Big Sis Magne has one problem in the English dub. Magne is actually a transgender man turned woman. It’s obvious once we realize their clothing choice and their actual villain name, Big Sis. The main problem is that everyone in the dub refers to them as a He, never really giving the audience a nudge to realize what they stand for. I mean they’re missing their top half now. So, that’s bad.

Im a manga reader but I’m one of the fews that doesn’t spoil and I’m caught up with the manga and I just have to say that I had a feeling that the opening had to be kinda tame mainly casue I knew what’s going to happen and I guess they didn’t want to spoil anything major but they did tease a very HUGE thing in the op around the end part of it. I know I'm late, but I just wanted to share this piece of information: In the manga, this is the chapter where it gets confirmed that All Might is bi, why? Because he says that the 3rd reason he doesn't want to talk with Nighteye is that "they broke up", is just that it can also be translated to "I don't want to talk with him" (I think, I don't remember well...). At the time, the fandom named AM as our bi icon (even tho it is confirmed by Horikoshi that Touga is also bi).
