This is a simple overnight dry hands treatment that is going to relieve dry skin in hands next day. Gloves need to be cotton for a better results and keep them on for 6 hours.
How to avoid / prevent dry hands on the daily basis: 1:10
For this hand recipe you need vaseline and a pair of cotton gloves.
If you get into the habit you can use this hand remedy every day if you're hands get really dry fast or you can apply this two times a week to keep hands soft and moisturized.

At 65, I use the Vaseline method (with rubber gloves) every night. The difference of my skin is remarkable. This Vaseline method REALLY works, and it doesn't take long to see results. I also use Vaseline on my lips; it prevents cracking and dryness.

I will definitely try this out. My hands are so dry because I like to use fragrance soaps frequently. I will stop using those and find oatmeal soaps to wash now. My hands are frequently cracked and dry and even if I put lotion on, it only helps a little as I also use the fragrance lotion. This has been going on for the past 2 years every winter and now this winter I'm having dry itchy rash on my wrists 😭. I have never had dry skin before I started to frequently use fragrance soaps often. Most likely because I use the soaps to much. I will definitely try this out and not use fragrance soaps anymore.

I'm gonna try this and try to update every day. Before starting: My hands are rough and if I stretch my hands my palms and fingers look kinda wrinkly. Day 1: Fingers are kinda softer and cuticles look a lot more hydrated. Day 2: Edges of my palms feel slightly softer edit: sorry i forgot to update but i did this for about a week and my hands are a lot softer! my hands still look kinda wrinkly but they're a lot more hydrated. my cuticles also don't get dry. i would say even after you get your results though make sure you moisturise your hands after washing them.

I work at a restaurant and I'm constantly cleaning, constantly washing my hands, and dipping my hands in our sanitizing bucket which caused my hands to be dry to the point they flake and bleed a little. 😶 this works, but you gotta keep at it. you have to layer your moisturizers and if you're older add some kinda retinol serum. put that on first, then an essence, thrn an oil, then an heavier, more nourishing cream. gold bond eczema treatment or st. ives collagen and elastin are excellent. wait 3-5 minutes between each layer. let everything sink in, then add an occlusive. (aquaphor, vaseline etc). be generous when applying, especially the occlusive for last. really slather it on. forget those cotton gloves. they don't 'keep the moisture in', they absorb it. your gloves will be better moisturized then your hands. get some disposable nitrile plastic gloves. the big pack with like 150 in em'. cut the tips of the fingers off so your hands can get air. put these on after the last coat. sleep in them. it may feel a bit weird at first, but trust me, you get used to it, especially if you want pretty hands. if you do this every night, in about a week you'll notice your hands are much softer, younger looking, and don't dry out as easy. it's some work, but it's worth it, especially if your hands get as dry and wrinkled as mine do.

Thank you so Much for the tip I had always had soft hands and then all of the sudden my hands started getting dry and the tip of my fingers started to crack and it hurts so much..
