"...once you get outside, all you hear is the sound of the waves!" There is something very special about sailing at night. The sound of the bow slicing through the sea. The breeze and the peace. Endless total darkness beyond the lights of the ship. 🙂

I can’t imagine how someone would begin to build a huge ship, even the planning stage with technical drawings and the maths necessary to make it float, stop it sinking and functional.

I’m always amazed how little tug boats or trucks can move around huge ships or planes. Here in the uk they have some for helicopters, it looks like one person is easily pulling around a heavy helicopter.

These later videos with short, labelled, commentary are great. No waffling, or "look at me", just down to earth facts with some humour thrown in. Great! Never been to Japan, but probably flew close to it on my way to Hawaii once! Love your Bands, love your ferries and trains, and I love what you've made of Japan over the last 70 years. Your videos make me want to visit while I sit about in my retirement in UK

Can someone explain to me why there are so many of these ferries operating in Japan with so few regular passengers? Are they mostly transporting cargo? Every time I see one of these Japan ferry videos it's mostly deserted. There's no way they can be in business just by regular people ticket sells.

( no offence to them but if it's a all you can eat and I'm on a ferry for 10+ hrs I'm.gonna eat!!!!) 😂😂😂 Not eat like a toddler or a bird esp for the prices of food !!
