We travelled to Cornwall, England to spend 24 hours, overnight in its most haunted pub. Plagued by poltergeist activity and countless ghost stories spanning more than a century, the Jamaica Inn certainly lived up to its haunted reputation with so much paranormal activity.

The Jamaica Inn is very atmospheric. Stayed a few times and couldn’t shake the feeling I was being watched. Second time I stayed, my partners shirts that he’d hung up neatly were all on the wardrobe floor in the morning. We’d heard nothing but did smell very strong tobacco smoke when we went to bed. A really great place to stay and so interesting when you see just how many famous people have stayed there over the years, including Winston Churchill. Looking forward to watching xx

This brings great memories, not spooky ones though. I lived in Cornwall before moving to Australia. My mother's godmother was Daphne Du Maurier, whom my grandfather met on the ship back from Egypt after a military posting. So interesting seeing this history as well as your investigating. Love your videos, but would love to see more Cornish content. The place is infested with history and amazing stories!! 😀

I too wondered if it was the wind, (as in "the wind whistled through the trees") because it seemed to be happening at the apex of the gusts... but with multiple notes that to me sounded at least an octave lower than the squeaking metal sound that was happening at intervals as well, I think it sounded like someone as opposed to something, whistling.

I'm currently running a pub in Manchester UK with my partner it's around the same age as Jamaica Inn, not as big but pretty creepy, especially upstairs. It was built in 1710 called Smith's Inn and the name was changed in the 1730's to The Coach and Horses when the Manchester to Liverpool stagecoach was provided and this was a stopping off place. I have ghost tube, it comes up with relevent information. I've not done a big investigation but some of the customers agree that they have also been freaked out over various encounters.

Amy just after you mentioned the light at the foot of your bed and then you started to get comfortable, I saw what looked like an orb briefly appear to the left (for those watching) but to your right Amy. It came from the top of the bed and moved diagonally downwards towards you and then disappeared. I can't time stamp it because I joined the premier late and it doesn't show the proper time but it was just before this time 1:13:58. 1:14:40 another orb was seen moving right to left from the edge of you bed towards the opposite side of the bed ( away from you).

Truly there are spirits still roaming in the Jamaica Inn. While you were sleeping, Amy, i did see a few orbs flying around. I could've sworn i heard whistling as well. It was distinct from the wind outside. In room 6, i did hear the faint steps but a sizeable orb rushed across the bed. Where Jarrad was i heard a click and tap you had pointed out. An eerily awesome investigaton indeed.

The Jamaican Inn is so cool! Very interesting investigation. There is a actually a lot I can say about this investigation, starting with my own experience with visual migraine headaches. I used to get them a lot, especially when I haven't eaten well. There were a couple times I would get what could be considered paranormal experiences associated with them My daughter lived in a house that appeared to have been haunted, and her daughter was convinced a ghost hung out in her closet. So I investigated this, like any good grandfather would. The moment I opened the door I got a splitting headache. It only lasted as long as the door was open though. The Seer image of what I would call "wee folk" was quite fascinating! I do believe they do exist in their own reality, and are a type of a "familiar spirits", or guides. I have felt their presence a few times. They can be very machivest at times! I really enjoyed this one, for that Inn appears very active!❤
@thisisdumbaf69
@thisisdumbaf69 Ай бұрын
Few things caught my mind: there was an "UPSTAIRS" at the beggining, during the Estes there was a word "FOUR" so when you showed us the baby's cry earlier that day what happened upstairs in room 4...gave me the chills. Also the Seer sessions showed us "kids"- I truly believe those were fairies/"hidden folk". They are much stronger than human spirits, maybe thats why they was able to knock immediately on command. And one more: when you knocked 3 times, they didnt reacted on the spot. But when you had the Seer on, there was a "movement" what sounded like 3 loud knocks sorta melting in each other. (Also there was a mention about some spirit folding clothes- that also reminds me of one of the fae folk) I saw all of your videos, but this Inn has a pull on me, like I feel I HAVE to go there at one point. Crazy good stuff guys🤘👏👏👏

At 16:54, when pointing to the cabinet of tea and asking the question of what was inside, personally, I heard the response of “herbals” (you can even hear the syllables) not “I was” which would make more sense because the tea would have been mixed with other herbs and flowers for flavour. At 19:15, when you’re both calling out to the dog, one of you heard “fetch” and the other “Phillips” however, I had heard “filch”. I had no idea what this word meant so I went to Google and found the definition to be as follows: pilfer or steal (something, especially an item of small value) in a casual way. This fits perfectly with the theme of the inn entirely and seems to be fitting.

I get those sort of migraines too. Mine have linked triangles that alternate black and white in that shimmering way the colours you showed did. Plus I get the grey foggy blur in the middle as it expands.

@AmysCrypt i lov 1:02:19 e the way you do everything. PLEASE don't change a thing and NEVER use that Hotel check in ghost bell. It dings like constantly, then ppl use that stupid bell just goes off all the time and investigators do 1:02:19 end up, just turning it off after acting like it was answering them❣️. Stay true to yourselves. You both are delightful.

This was a really great investigation! I read Daphne du Mauriers’ book Jamaica Inn a few years back and have been very intrigued about this place ever since finding out it was an actual place. I really enjoyed the book as well, so anyone out there who likes to read I recommend the book. Most definitely a good ghost story of a book. Loved every bit of this investigation. Thank you! 💜✨
