Hey! I’ve just started watching you guys two days ago and can’t stop 😂😂 Honestly you two are ridiculously inspirational!! I’ve always had a wanderlust (in my mid 20’s) and you are so awesome in how you consistently consider those with potentially lower budgets, love that component to how you present things, and also how you seem to really respect each and every culture you come across by learning some of the language. Is there any advice you’d have for getting over the anxieties of travel? I imagine prepping and research is one thing but is there anything else you’d suggest? Also this is a generic question, but what do you feel is your dream destination as a couple so far?

Hey! I love that haha 😂 Especially when we started we were very cautious about being on a budget because we had no idea if this was going to work haha. As we grow our budget is becoming bigger but still we are frugal and so that will probably always be apart of our content. However we try to spend more on accomodation for rest and recovery because staying in a place for £11 a night and being attacked by mosquitos is no fun for 10 nights straight 😂 If you are in your 20s or even early 30s stay in hostels so you can meet other travellers who are also solo - this is the best way to travel when you are young and I kind of miss that. You meet great people and can join them on their adventures - try not to book more than a few days in advance so you are flexible. Lastly just go for it because you have to start somewhere and it will be nerve racking initially but as soon as you meet people and start travelling together it’s life changing! I don’t have a dream destination but Karolina would probably say Japan. For me it’s having amazing experiences that you wouldn’t usually know about or hear of - so we’re going to try and do more of this for content in the future :)

Recently subscribed, really enjoying your channel. A small word about marriage and children…..never never feel pressured to do either. If you get married, and if you choose to have children or not have children, this is your choice nobody else’s. Karolina, you are absolutely correct, children change everything. If you don’t want children then you should not feel bad about it. Jay, not all women desire to have children, regardless of age. Bonour aux France. I think you speak very well togeather , I have been to south korea and Japan and singapour. Lots od amzing places I was there in 2016, I also did NZ and Australia .becouse the cost of flights was much lower becouse I was allrady in the region. I would say out of all of them Japan was the best. When you go to Australia they have a special lane for UK and Irish pasport holders When you land,. I went to Brisbrane and the gold coast. It was like UK but in the Sun you can feel the simulatlies between the counteries. Uk and Australia. You may not want to come home afterwards, I did what you are doing now but back in the 90s. The book lonley planet was started by a back packers collective. Before the internet, it was little information books and people wrote down and shared there experince and all this information was made into books, THe childern question have childern as early as possible dont plan a life into your schedual it doesnt work. If you have childern you can allways travel the bristish isles. My 2 daughters are like my sisters as I had them very young first at 19 and other one when 23. So the age of what Karolina is now 27 imagine having 2 girls around you age 8 and 5, I was a single farther I still worked I was a teacher grandparents helped out, we got through. I am telling you now as a wise old man. As when I was 30 my daughters where 11 and 7, and I was a fit yuung man and we did travel in the school summer hoilday. we went to so many countiers. And as a teacher I was able to home school them. Love your experinces and your channel, ( English not to good today type quick )

I heard you mention China a few times but can't find any videos on it....... so assuming you haven't been yet? if and when you go, check out Shanghai !!! it is a cool awesome city that is YEARS ahead of UK... rich in interesting history and influenced by Europe and Japan. Be warned, in China it is very hard to PAY for anything.... lots of places don't take cash or overseas credit cards..... I have no idea how tourists from overseas pay for things these days?! you will have to look into it haha good luck!

You should travel to Sri lanka. Great place for a holiday. One of the best beaches in the world and a lot of sight historical seing areas. The food is extremely underrated

I used that word because it sometimes takes youtubers a long time to figure out the algorithm - but as I had a previous channel, we managed to monetise faster and get to a level where you can make a decent living! We’re celebrating 5 years together this year so we feel like we still need a bit of time before we actually decide to get married 😄 We would love to visit the US some day and do it probably - maybe rent a van for a few months and go though different states? @@JayandKarolina I've only been to Boracay beaches and it was quite nice, though I heard Siargao is better even though I haven't gone there yet 🙂 ....Metro Manila is a cool urban area on the other hand and has a lot of variety too like Makati/BGC/BayCity which are high end and Tondo which is more gritty/dangerous if you want a real world Manila feel, plus Intramuros for the Spanish influence
