I'm an older guy and I no longer fish due to a stroke and a heart attack. But I just love your fishing trip videos. You explain in detail what your doing and why. I really like the deep sea adventures. I read alot on saltwater fishing and watch alot of on line videos ( my wife doesn't always understand why ). American Fishing videos are uninteresting because they seem full of themselves. You make it calming and interesting, like it should be. Keep doing what your doing. There's a Yank in Wisconsin that is really injoying them!

I understand and share your opinion of a lot of larger American fishing shows - and some of the smaller ones. I don't know if it is a British thing or just a personality thing but I don't like all the whooping and hollering. I get excited about everything and simply love sharing my passion for fishing and the natural world. For as long as you choose, you are always welcome over here with us Mark. 😊👍🏻🎣

I just remembered my life in Hawaii. Yes how lovely to set out heading out into the tradewind from Hilo, Hi going Southeast into the gentle swells. and after the fish are in the cooler, head back home, trolling with the swells, gentle and the water an unimaginable blue, no stress on the boat ramp, heading home 10 minutes away, and then the "coming home ceremony". The admiration of the catch, the cleaning. The tired man drinking his coffee or beer. the smile of the family. ALL OF THAT such a blessing.

This is better entertainment than anything the BBC puts out. I could happily watch your videos every day of the week. I know what you mean about the simple things in life are by far the best. I have a little half mile stretch of river all to myself and it’s glorious to sit there surrounded by nature away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Definitely got to get myself either a small boat or kayak though for when I visit my son in Cornwall so that we also can experience the joy these videos project. Thank you.

Every fishing activity (night or day), crab/lobster pot hauls, coastal/underwater exploration/foraging sessions, should finish with a BBQ or cooking session. That is what makes your videos so great. Catch and cook either on the beach, on the boat, Hannah's kitchen or at Spargo's - that is what makes your videos so complete and enjoyable.

@officialWWM4 жыл бұрын
The Fish Locker well, not all the time but changing hook sizes and styles, fishing depth, baits Etc, you can certainly narrow it down. For example, when we go snapper fishing, we pretty much always catch snapper. When trolling for tuna, guess what we catch? When shark fishing for Mako or blue sharks, big burley trails, big hooks and big baits will usually catch you a big shark.

You asked what we would like to see........ I have commented before that I find seeing you, your wife and son together as natural and normal. I enjoy those videos. Now and again though, I like to see you fishing on your own. The reason being that I think most family men spend time with their wife and child(ren) but also fish on their own and concentrate on catching something specific when alone, rather than "general"fishing to keep everybody involved. We might not always be successful hunting a specific species, but it is a different type of fishing.

Hot Ribena, whatever floats your boat 😉 bit like a lemsip I imagine. I want to try sea fishing but have no idea where to start, all these rods and kits on amazon just baffle me, multiplier, fixed spool, rod length, baits, line material 😤maybe one day you might make a beginners guide vid 🤞🏻

The Fish Locker I didn’t realise you had another channel 🤦🏻♂️ I’ll be checking it out 🎣 because fishing gear can land people in debt than fish in a landing net, my Amazon basket has seen everything apart from an actual fish, I keep adding things and removing things 🤯

John another cracking video I like the fact you start to mix it up as you have started to grow up in audience. Quite a responsibility isn’t it? You have to keep it up. Yes, definitely do sort of these videos. I couldn’t believe how many doggies you have pulled out in this area but at least the ray was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. This darker colour, incredible. Well done and keep them coming.

- Yes mate. The ray made up for the barrage of doggies.lol. Take care my friend. 😊

Love these overnighters! Something proper relaxing about the sound of the sea at night, bet you slept like a log getting gently rocked to sleep by the waves! Another great video! Hope to see more in the coming summer! All the best mate, tight lines 🎣🎣🎣

Thanks, John. Interesting and I enjoyed your trolling hour, looked a nice little spot for it. Never been a fan of rays, but they are interesting. If you night fish again I would love to see live bait used. Last Sunday I fished on our friendly charter boat and we went for bass. We caught about 10 (all a good mark of fish of 5 to 8 lb) from a huge shoal that just lurked close to the bottom but weren't much interested in feeding. Highlight of the day was casting lures to the 'Stone' at low water into shallows with white water everywhere. Some big fish follows but just one schooly hooked. Keep up the good work.

What a fantastic way to spend your time.Envy just dose not cover it tbh. Used to spend a helluva lot of my time as a boy pier fishing at Ardrossan harbour,and if I was lucky,got out in a boat occasionally. Mackerel season was always anticipated as we used to take our catch to the local Chinese. A crate of fish would get us a bag of chips and a shilling. Very happy days.Keep doing what your doing while you can fella.

- Haha. I think every young lad used to see fish to the Chinese takeaway.lol.

It really is all about the little things in life. The big things can be great, but you'd waste a majority of life waiting to be happy from them alone. Great video, and as with all of your videos, anything you'd like to put up, I'd be happy to see. As you mentioned, some kind of diffuser over the light may help a little, but the quality was still fine enough. Thank you, as always, and you and the family have a great weekend. Mine and I will be going to take a look at our future home that we just put under contract. 😄

We allenjoy our programs, even our two year old loves the dive and rockpooling catch and cook vids ! You are a super presenter with passion and knowledge. You could easy get a massive TV following, but to be honest, we think TV is dying. Too much propaganda and fake news from the corporate media. Small is beautiful. Thank you mate for making such interesting and scenic vids !
