Those ribs looked awesome. Tip for the corn on fire / coals/ bbq: If the husk is still on, submerge in water for at least 1 hour before. If not, wrap in foil. *pro tip: put butter and salt /seasoning inside of husk/ foil before cooking

Soak your ears of corn in some water prior to grilling. Say about a half hour. That will help them steam as they cook.

I know this is a bit late but the RV miraculously survived I don't know what it was but the fire burnt everything on the road except our travel trailer and two homes.

Great video Mav! Just a suggestion, from a chef, it is alright to add more oil to the skillet while cooking, pan was looking a little dry. You might also want soak the corn in some water, for a hour or so, before putting them on or near a flame.

Mav, A nice crayfishing technique I have found is to take a baseball cap or fine net, put it in the water directly behind the crayfish then reach in front of it with your other hand. They shoot back into the cap/net and become vittles.

Soak the corn then peel the husk down without removing then season with salt, pepper and olive oil. pull husk back over corn and grill

If you soak the corn in water before placing it on the fire it will steam it inside and cook it perfectly, give it a try!

I grew up getting crawfish. Put raw bacon in the trap. They will go after it like it's crack no joke. Sometimes you don't even need a trap. We would tie the bacon to shoe strings and put it near the crawfish. They would hang on to that bacon and let us tow them into mason jars and dumped into buckets. Even had one raise his pinchers to me to defend the bacon.

For the corn, next time wrap it in foil. Will seal in more of the sweet flavor. Bonus if you coat the foil in a thin amount of butter.

If your still up by the gunflint trail and want trout go to pine lake north of devil track lake,right on ball club rd (27) and right at trestle pine rd (1365). If you do go stop at junco creek on the way, it's loaded with brookies not big but a lot of them.

Mav up here on Lake Vermillion in northern Mn we have crawfish that are literally mini lobsters. And a ton of them. I use a piece of worm and a pole and hook and sinker drop it down and catch literally 20-40 plus everytime I try.

Crawfish are funny, in FL at the springs we have some huge ones, and if you got to try and pick them up, they will try to latch on to you, it doesnt feel good, but it doesnt hurt an its pretty funny.
