Scale also waights your clothes, that's why it is adviced to step on scale in nothing but underwear or naked, and to do it in the morning, after using the toilet and before eating and drinking anything

THANK YOU, I wake up, you can tell I haven’t eaten because my stomach is flat, and I weigh 153ish By the end of the day I’m always a little bloated and weigh 154-157 depending on the day. I have had to learn this, and remind myself I’m still on track and I’m allowed to intake food and water

Good message for people who are panicking about weight fluctuations. Before I knew about water weight I gained about 5 lbs overnight and freaked out. I was eating high water based foods too.

This is why you dont weigh daily weight weekly. My day is Wednesday. So every Wednesday, I weigh myself no other day, and believe me, I know it's hard but trust me it helps.

I figured that out when losing my obese level of weight, so, my medical target for my ideal weight at my height, is 197 lbs to 217 lbs. So, I lost until my morning weight was closer to 197, which in reality was 199 or 200, and bedtime weight was about 215, reality 213,214,215. So, that's what I try to maintain

Yeah we fluctuate weight 2-3lbs daily & around 5-10lbs weekly; weight is never a static number!! Factors: water retention, diet, Exercise, stress & Rx meds can contribute to fluctuations.

when i was a teenager some years ago and was on the peak of my ed i literally stopped drinking water and always took medicine to pee (even though i was dehydrated and had nothing to put out lol) because i couldn’t stand seeing the numbers increasing on the balance, thinking i was getting fatter. this video would have helped me.

No. It’s why you weight after you use the bathroom in the morning, and before you eat or drink anything. That is the most accurate your scale will be all day, although it will always be slightly skewed due the food in your intestines.
