Overnighter in one of Scotland's most Remote Bothies: Maol Bhuidhe

Myself & Robin (‪@WalkWithWallace‬ ) set out from Killilan to the remote Maol Bhuidhe Bothy. We cycle 8 miles into Iron Lodge & then hike the rest of the way over the pass.
After a quick bit to eat, we head up the remote Corbett, Beinn Dronaig, above the bothy, before heading back for the night. The next again day we hike out & explore Iron Lodge before cycling out.

Fun overnighter! I like Robin’s orange bike- biking is a great way to get in some quick miles! Cute Bothy- so nice to have a dry place to sleep, warm fire and musical entertainment! Beautiful green hills! 💚👌👍👍

I'm sure my uncle used to sing a version of those old bothy ballads - often whilst seated in the middle of road junctions whilst also playing his box, in the early hours of a New Year... Maybe not the most KZbin - friendly version right enough; and as there were usually certain 'aromas from the farmyard' to accompany his pieces, the outdoor nature of the venue wasn't actually the worst thing about it... I blame the pickled onions myself. Maybe you're onto something with your advocado there, young Kev! Nice looking boots too - and, I never knew you got waterproof socks...😁

Fantastic and great timing for me as I will soon be doing the same route to the bothy with my brother to climb his last Munro top which is the east top of Lurg Mhor so it was nice to see that route and good video nice to see the bothy which looks nice mate cheers
