As an athlete my self, I'm not really sure what we can do about it? Are we suppose to not have fun with the activities we do? I understand if you don't like athletes who have bad attitudes or who are super cocky and don't have any humility and humbleness to them, but you shouldn't drag the good ones into this.

Great video. You mentioned that all of them won national titles in college. I was just wondering was it because they are usually college seniors 22 year old adults competing against 18 & 19 year old teenagers. Because most of the top talent turns pro after their sophomore season. I know Abby & Mathew stayed all 4 years and didn't win until their senior year. Then the media hyped them up to be the greatest.
@Mr100kaday

well they were mature when they won. None of them came into college doing amazing things and winning like Shaccari or Trayvon. thats the difference. mary beth wasnt ncaa champion. I'm not sure that Marybeth Sant Price white privilege has ever gotten her anything outside of being a former 60m specialist. Like a lot of 60m specialists their ability just doesn't transfer over to the 100m. The reason I say her white privilege hasn't really gotten her anything is because despite her being white and what some may say is good looking, she was never able to get sponsored. Probably the reason she's out of the sport now and has gone on to coaching I believe.
@artdogg50
@artdogg50 22 күн бұрын
Well despite your hate for her there are few athletes that have a hustle that I can respect more than Jenna Prandini. Sure she's gone from possible contender to long time lane filler faster than any track athlete I can immediately remember, but she has the sense to sign up for some races she can place in and sometimes even actually win. She actually has a lot of individual medals, just in events few know about. Far as I know she's still being sponsored by Nike too. So her white privilege does still account for something there. Plus her ability to get on 4x100m teams running the curve and winning the only noteworthy medals she has. Can't knock the hustle.
