One thing about Bayern, it's not that they couldn't stop him without pulling his whole team apart. That's a misleading timeline. Bayern didn't buy anyone from Klopp's Dortmund, until after they won the treble that year. The only players that even were bought from Klopp were Götze and Lewandowski, a year apart at that. He still had the likes of Reus, Gundo, Auba and Hummels when he was in the relegation zone with Dortmund.

This season it’s cost them dearly, but even in previous seasons battling against city it came down to not having enough quality outside the starting XI. Klopp has done incredibly well to deal with that every season knowing he can only sign a few players even tho he needs more but won’t get to address until 2-3 transfer windows later. Obviously it’s different having a middle eastern sheik like we do where money virtually doesn’t exist lol, but it’s not like Liverpool and fsg are some peasant fan owners who are scraping by year over year they just want to spend the minimum amount required to keep the team competitive and a lot of times they judge that minimum poorly

Klopp goes to any club in the world whenever he decides to leave Liverpool, his tactics that made Liverpool so successful haven't changed, the squad has reached it's peak and needs reinventing to play his style of football. Look at what he did going toe to toe with a cheating Man City with the best manager in the world at the helm year in year out, and tipping them to the league on one occasion. The problem with Grealish is that you don't see anything 'magical' from him or any of the other Man City players including Haaland. There's been many times where Haaland was on the edge of the area and the space opened up for him to take a shot and he instead passed it 5m to someone else. It's as if Pep wants surgical precision with no flare involved. The only time this season where something brilliant happened was KDBs goal last week, but that was an opportunistic moment that required that brilliance for the finish.

Grealish is fantastic, and I’ll give you 2 reasons why he is so hated in the modern game: 1) we care more about stats than performances and impact in the modern game. Fact of the matter is he constantly beats his man and wins free kicks. 2) he cost £100m when he never should have been that much and never asked to be that much. Players don’t choose how much they’re worth.

Buvey is 100% correct re Jack Grealish. A great player but lacks that moment of magic, a clutch moment, something that makes you go 'wow'.

Regarding the FA cup, I think it’s underrated to a certain generation of fans however to a more recent generation (coming from someone who’s 21) I don’t understand the hype. I don’t see it any different then winning the league cup

Grealish will always be scarred by his price tag. Have to take it out of the equation and simply look at what the player is doing and asked to do. Clearly getting a lot rate as he is playing game in and game out.
