Kind of a weird one in the playhouse. Thanks for taking us along.

We've been swamped with storm work here in N.W. IN/Chicagoland area since that big storm came through a few days ago. Kinda feel bad cashing in on other people's misfortune but that's the name of the game when it comes to trees and storm cleanup. I find it a little crazy that the insurance companies won't pay for preventative tree work, they wait until it destroys their customers house/car/property and then they'll send someone out. A few people have paid out of pocket just to get the fallen trees off their house so they could tarp up the roof themselves because their insurance can't get an adjuster out for a week or two. Insurance seems more and more like a big scam to me every time I hear another customers story. Stay safe out there Spance!
@ScottWConvid195 ай бұрын
Yeah,, that's where I'm at. We got some serious damage all over. What's your company name?
@metaspencer5 ай бұрын
Yeah I just bought another pack of cheap blue tarps -- but a few of the rooftop trees have just been resting there, no damage. I had one with a speared roof and widowmaker over the house. the insurance co would only pay to remove the spearing top NOT the widowmaker. kinda crazy. stay safe man!

@metaspencer I had a monsoon come through last week that was intense. At one point the bus was rocking and wind driven rain was hitting all sides. Then I heard a roaring like a train. Thought to myself I don't want to be inside a tornado. No trees here but It snapped off a power pole next to my place. A local told me he was relaxing in his pool watching that storm across the valley and saw a funnel drop down. So I can check that off the list
