In many places outside the West, you cannot drink the tap water. When you buy locally-filtered water, make sure you take a look in the jug before drinking. From now on, we're buying bottled water from Prince or 7-11. No more locally-filtered drinking water for my crew.

Sounds like next time you are in the states you need to pick up a Big Berkey Gravity Water Filter System and take it back to the PI and use regular tap water.

Maybe you could get yourself a barky water filter they say you can drink water from the river with that if you buy your local water and put that through the berkey filter would be much better

Mark, I hear ya. Not ripping on Filipinos, but cutting corners is what saves their small profit margin. I don't trust the filtered water either. My Filipina gets mad at spending a few extra pesos on store bought water, but oh well. Our health is worth it.

They are not washing the bottles before refill. Bring your own bottles and have them refilled. See if that is the issue. Get your own reverse osmosis filter system and it is a cost upfront but no more moving bottles around.

In Angeles there’s Aussie aqua . Awesome alkaline water. Maybe try opening a water station and have Jon Jon and flo be the manager/COO and the models be workers ? That would make for some interesting content and might be a good thing. Plus you’d know your water was clean.

Well Mississippi, cowboy up on the water. In the old days when water wells and pumps existed and you had to pump your water or get it out of the river. You used a sheet as a filter. You flicked the sheet to toss the bugs and contaminates. Just make a little filter system for the ladies to catch all the grn stuff and debris. Living in the php, your not gonna get high quality H20 like the waterboy🤣🤣🤣.

Make a good water filter with 2 food-grade buckets (white or blue look like paint buckets), a Korea Ceramic water filter (I order from Amazon and use two to process more water faster), 1 lever spout like on any juice or liquid dispenser. Drill hole(s) in bottom of top bucket to mount the filters inside, and stack that bucket on the top of the other with hole drilled in it for filtered water to drip into. Works great and cheap. Pour your already filtered water through it. I wouldn't trust city tap water without boiling and treating with chemicals.

I really love Fatima compared to all the rest of the Filipinas married or living with expats. When you have the jug near direct sun light(rays) over time your jug will grow green algae. The clearer the jug the faster you can develop this issue.

Man I had the same problems in Costa Rica. But this water look like jelly fish. I shit for 2 weeks. It's worth the money to find refreshing clean water.

OMG🤑🤑🤑!!!!! Thank you for bringing it up and showing the realty of the danger of drinking improperly filtered water in the Philippines. I grew up in the Philippines and migrated to the States 48 years ago, but from day 1 here in the US I have never drink water from tap water not unless it is totally boiled. I'm so blessed not to be sick from consuming water while I was in the Philippines. Now that I'm returning to the Philippines for retirement, I will be more aware and careful of the hazard of drinking water whether "purified or filtered". It's so scary though knowing that even eating halo-halo or iced drinks may be from dirty water. We need lots of prayers.

I tried to drink the water from a cooler at Clark and it tasted like iron; so to show how dumb I am I went to the snack bar and got a coke with plenty of ice. Well you know how that turned out.

Theres a lot of refilling water operations for sale on marketplace because most of them aren't doing there job properly and losing there permits , i use that water to fill up my drum to shower with lol

One bottle of liquid pool shock will dilute enough to purify some self filtered and treated water. Ya have to get 4 containers. Container 1 has a cotton sheet for getting the bulk material out of water. The chlorine goes into the first container. Container 1 flowes into container 2 with three layers. Rock , carbon/ charcoal and pool filter sand. Container 3 has another cotton sheet as a filter Container 4 is GLASS and has a quarter oz of silver at the bottom. The glass container sits in the sun for 24 hrs before being packaged in clean milk jugs or smaller glass containers. A one oz silver coin can be cut into 4 sections. The glass in the sun is the safest water ever. The chlorine is filtered in the sand rock and charcoal. The cotton sheet keeps out and gravel and charcoal. For probably 100 bucks in total for the products you will have the BEST SAFEST PUREST water and it will Taste great. Better than water bottle water from 7/11. Use FOOD grade 5 gallon buckets. Lots of restaurants can be a source..the local hardware stores have fittings called bulkhead fittings to attache a spigot. Gravity and YT is your friend.

The blue water jugs with the spigot at least have a bigger access into the jug so you can clean it out better. Those water bubbler type jugs only have the small neck access so you cannot fit your hand inside to clean out that type of jug.

Your water company don’t wash properly bottles before refilling them. It’s important to be vigilant when looking for filtered water refilling station to see if they are up the standards. Here in Cebu I had same issue about two years ago when refilling station was sold to new ownership and they stoped properly washing bottles between refills so I had to change stations.

Husband in Lapu Lapu, a company comes by each Sat. To pick up our empty water bottles. We usually have 4 or 5 to refill. I mentioned to my wife how do they make a profit at 25 pesos each? We give a 50 peso tip when they deliver the water. If we have less than 4 we give them 200 pesos anyway and 100 when they deliver. They also bring the water into our house, 75’ to walk.

I think those are called "forever chemicals" ..... I'm currently in Kansas City, Kansas and ... last week, I experienced my first ever "boil advisory" for 2 or 3 days before it was lifted and even then, I don't even want to use my own water which is one of the things these lofts provide for free. Disgusting. I don't want to drink someone's butt juice.

This exact thing happened to me, but it was a hot dog as I was eating a hot dog on the street. I bit the hot dog and I'm chewing it and then I look back and I see the Front. of an eyeball in the hot dog as I looked closer.I was shocked to see a tear.Come out of the Side of the hot dog.
