You said in the learning your discs portion to throw the disc where you’d normally throw that from, how do you know that before you learn your discs? Are there like kind of base guidelines that everyone is more or less close to in terms of when you throw what
@OverthrowDiscGolf3 жыл бұрын
Good question. In the beginning you’re going to have to eyeball it. From there you can get really scientific and measure your avg distance with each disc or just develop your eye for gauging distances.

@OverthrowDiscGolf3 жыл бұрын
Why must we be this way?
@tieegg3 жыл бұрын
If it helps, you can think about other things and put them on a checklist. Work one one thing, look at how they affect other things. Oh hey I did this with my feet and it made my upper body do something crazy. Oh hey I adjusted it this way, now it feels good in the rest of the body, stuff like that. Also I find if I'm thinking too much, I'll do practice throws, not releasing the disc. I'll even literally shake it off to loosen myself up. These things work for me clearing my head, try to find what helps you do the same.
@FuckGoogle23 жыл бұрын
@@tieegg I thought practise shots without the release was overkill, then I found myself slipping on quite a few teepads, doing this on that practise shot and being able to correct the "run-up" can save you a lot of roughtime.
