Before I'm watching, I'd like to share the fact I consider Overture a masterpiece. Sure, nobody asked for my opinion, but I'm very excited about this fragrance. I've tried it many times, I first didn't like it, but I was intrigued. Eventually, I bought a sample, then a few samples, and I've only recently purchased a bottle. I love it, and I appreciate Karen Vinchon Spehner a lot. It seems to me she's one of the perfumers who do not copy paste their work into different brands portfolios. Much respect for her!

I love this one. Enough to have backups, silly I know... but this, Fate and Journey are the Amouage scent's I wear most. The grapefruit in this is really lovely and blends so well with the spices in this.

Interlude black iris and Overture are my two favorite Amouages and the only two I have backup bottles of. Actually, I should paraphrase, they are my two favorite fragrances ever.

Good man Mark, Overture is my number 1 Amouage. Karine Vinchon-Spehner is so talented and humble, one of my favorite perfumers. I got a bottle from Amouage right at launch, I could smell only Cognac, Barell Wood and Grapefruit. It lasted for days on the sweater.

i hope thameen insignia is next on the review docket to speak on the transition from last amouage release under Christopher Chong to the first thameen release under him. Insignia is not on the same level as Overture Man but it’s an important piece of the Chong journey. It was perfumed by Alexandra Carlin… who has ties to the amouage Chong era as well.

Ah cheers Marc, I wanna say your The only reviewer that got the same from this amazing fragrance, I feel exonerated, I didn’t get much if any cognac, I got Bel Ami old school Leather, it played with others from the line, I kinda thought it the Heritage of Amouage to be honest, it holds true to the experience of The classy fragrances of the brand , great review cheers buddy 👊💪🤛

When i got a sample, i didn't understand it, really didn't like it despite loving the hype. I took a shot and got a whole bottle because Amouage has yet to disappoint me, I have like 10 bottles from them, they are my favorite house. It grew on me and it comes off as sort of fresh and powdery to a degree, it's odd but then it settles in and that rich cognac and amouage depth kicks in

Great review brother! IMO, Amouage's direction under C. Chong was AMAZING! The start of many talented parfumers were largely in part because of him. Cecile Zarokian with Epic Man and Karine Vinchon-Spehner with Memoir Man. Just another fantastic fragrance put together by my personal favorite parfumer, Karine Vinchon-Spehner 🔥 Keep up the great work and be safe!

Love Amouage for many years. Sad Chong left but I’ve been sleeping on Journey Man for a couple years and finally got it… wow, it just smells absolutely incredible. Love it. I did have Overture but didn’t wear it so I moved it on, it’s a great scent tho… I kinda regret letting it go a little lol

I love your takes and I wouldn't complain if I didn't care I'd just unsub and leave, but I don't see the point of wanting to be a fragrance reviewer that does a review almost six years after release. I guess it has some merit to some, but for the people actually interested in this we already tried it (maybe even bought it like I have) and have moved on. I understand this is your fragrance journey, but you even say this is late. I think many of us in the frag community would appreciate if you could do reviews on fragrances like this reasonably early on even if it's just from sample, and samplin samples is not really it. edit: even this is not a review, lol! unboxing and 1st impression after waiting on a "premiere". M-A, come on...
