The environmental cost for this clean up, by law, is the responsibility of the waste producer(s). The trucking company might get some costs thrown back at it by the waste producer in court but who ever produced the waste is responsible even if the trucking/environmental hauler is at fault. This is why it's important to choose environmental hauler *very* carefully.
@station2403 жыл бұрын
It's used antifreeze though, and a whole tanker full. So either it's come from one source (industry) or countless automotive workshops are getting a nasty bill in the mail.

This is a tough place to drive in an ordinary car, let alone a truck. First bad decision was to take this route instead of the truck route. L.A. traffic won't always let you change lanes when you're trying to get onto the right freeway. We don't know why this happened, but if you want to make up your own version, this is a free country. Go right ahead.

@PepesTowingService3 жыл бұрын
Modifying the tanker tube destroys the rated working load limit. In the event of a failure, I'd be held liable for working with modified parts that decrease the working load limit. By modifying it, now you don't know what it's rated at.

Given how much you have to work at night and in areas with poor lighting, have you ever looked at those Airstar safety lighting systems? I remember seeing them when I was working on paving machinery, and they produce a lot of light but diffuse it well, so they aren't dazzlingly bright. It's a neat technology.

No need, it looks dark on GoPro because of the small censor the camera has. GoPros aren't great at night. But Hulk and Big Flipper have state of the art lighting, and I have Milwaukee light towers. It's not like I need to light up every inch of the floor.
