I have just fitted the road version to my RE Interceptor (2022) without issue or incident, make sure you have a 13mm hex socket for the exhaust nuts supplied as the OEM nuts are 12mm. I bought this exhaust to replace the Tec stinger 2:1. To change the oil filter you only need to remove the exhaust nuts and the muffler nut and let it drop down a few inches and you will then have full access to the oil filter there is no need to completely remove the exhaust from the bike.

Why wouldnt you put the 02 sensors on last? as surely something else that gets in the way and there seems plenty of room to do this

That's a good question. The race only is half the price of the road version.. no cats. I was interested in one, but the tec system looks more finished, doesn't crowd the oil filter and is cheaper still.

Where is the difference between road an racing version? Any difference in noise? Curious because in GER we have very strict noise regulations on tracks.

I have one more question. Do we need to remap the bike somehow after installing this exhaust? Because the bike runs to lean while riding in higher altitudes (like Tatry Mountains 2200-2500 ft). Lots of backfiring on decel. BTW I did not fit the highflow air filter and snorkle eliminator kit yet. And am afraid it will be much more leaner with highflow filter. Am I right?

Great question! Anytime you adjust the air flow in or out of the engine it is a good idea to have it professionally tuned, especially when operating at higher altitudes.

If I get your 2 to 1 exhaust and your high airflow air filter - do I need to flash the cpu so it doesn't run lean? or will the o-2 sensors do the changes for us?

If you change both the intake and the exhaust we do recommend that you have your bike tuned to keep it running properly.

Any tips on getting the decibel reducer out. Almost tipped bike over trying to pull it out. Wtf help anyone!!!

The Db reducers are held in by a set screw on the back side of the muffler. Be sure to remove that before trying to remove the reducer. If you're still having trouble after that, drop us a message at [e-mail] and we would be happy to help you out.

Hm, I've scratched the frame, scratched the fender, scratched the oil cooler guard in multiple places and still cannot fit it...

They are a bit tricky to get on at first, just take your time & keep at it. You can do it!
