And, is it easy to load and pull the skiff from the front handle?
@spanglishangler Жыл бұрын
Well, I am almost 50 years of age and with back problems. So I have plenty power but still, need to be careful with what I lift and carry. The Skiff is not that difficult to carry. The handle at front feels steady and strong. You need some power to lift the skiff, but something doable for what I think the majority of any “normal” adult. Is hard to explain because I know different people haves different capabilities. Hope I was able to answer your question.

Thank you fornyour review. Pretty helpful. Does the outboard mirror mount has something to tie the motor to a rope just in case?
@spanglishangler Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment and glad you like it. I use a cord and attach the motor to the transom for “just in case”. But is well secure and I don’t think you should have any issues. Thanks for watching.

@spanglishangler3 жыл бұрын
@@frankperez5037 perfecto.

Good Evening to Ya, I've just stumbled on to your site. I recently purchased a Hoodoo 130 and currently trying to find a trailer for it. Where did you purchase your trailer? Thanks, Olen
@spanglishangler Жыл бұрын
Hello there. Hope you are enjoying your skiff. I purchased the trailer form a post on Facebook Market. They price was good and the guy was local. It did need some repairs, but like I said! The price was right. Thanks for watching and catch them BIG.

Do you think one of these could fit a second person sitting in the front
@spanglishangler2 жыл бұрын
I think is doable. It all the depends of the weight of the person and obviously is not going to be comfortable in my opinion.

It's pretty much a solo skiff. I'm on the fence with these styles of boats. In a lot of ways I really like them but in some ways I don't feel there is enough room inside the boat.🎣
@spanglishangler2 жыл бұрын
Indeed. Very similar to the Solo. But both haves’ pros and cons. The pros for me on the Striker Skiff are better than the pros on the Solo. Reasons why I ended up with the Striker. Plus, you can’t get a new Solo now days. When it comes about space! The Striker haves enough space for my style of fishing. I can even throw a cast next from mine and move around very easily. But again, everyone fish differently and not sure exactly what is your fishing style and what you are trying to accomplish. If you are in Florida and want to try mine! Just hit me up my friend. Thanks for watching and the comment.

I think I got lucky on mine. Zero water inside the hull so far (knock on wood) on 6 or so outings. But yes, they need to add couple of things to this skiff to make it beast.
