So I'm used to my old pioneer having bass, treble, sla, and so on this only has the presets and the custom is Band1 band 2 etc. What does the band mean. It seems I had more flexibility with my old pioneer with customization of sound to make it sound awsome.

Each band has a Hz (herts/frequency) marked that you can adjust to your own liking Band 1: 32Hz Band 2: 63Hz Band 3: 125Hz And so on, there is a pattern to this if you havent already seen it. Each time you go up in the bands the frequency efectivley ”doubles” So after 125 you get 250, 500, 1k, 2k, 4k and so on up to 16k Meanwhile the bass/trebble adjustment you are familiar with allready have a set frequency set probably somewhere around 125Hz and below for bass and 8KHz and above for trebble. Sorry for the long rant, i Hope this clarified some things

"pos" on the screen means that position option is turned on. itll go off once you set position to off in sound settings

The New Life. Pt2 They make a new unit. This radio has been replaced by the MEX XB 120 BT. The new unit is pretty much the same except you get MORE POWER. They both have low pass and high pass filters that can be adjusted internally. The unit sounds awesome and has been a great upgrade to my vehicle.

Ideally yes BUT, I ran mine straight to the fuse block and used a fuse adapter from Amazon, it works fine and was so much easier to do it that way.

Rubish...I purchased mex n4200bt two weeks ago... every day I need set up sound and rest of things,I can't memorize ...soon when I switch of engine and start again...simply all memory's disappear... What's it's button for memory

Your treble and base is already there it’s on your EQ 10 PRESET like custom, rnb, rock, and so on but I preferred custom coz I have a sub and amp

Is about the wires from the back of unit , if you cable at coming red red, and yellow yellow , you need to change whit red yellow.is about the continued 12+ volt for red , and yellow is when you put the ignition to open the radio.
