I always decrease low and hi mids so I can have more bass and treble without clipping. Very good tips.

"I always decrease low and hi mids so I can have more bass and treble without clipping" ...... remarks like that, are exactly why people have trouble finding good information on the internet, and have to spend hours searching. Nobody knows what that means... UNLESS they already know about this kind of stuff.

@@billyfraiser6298dude. You think it is someone else's responsibility to teach you the basics of engineering? What he is describing is "subtractive EQing"... Instead of raising your target frequencies (ie bass and highs) and eating up all your head room and boosting the overall level of your mix, you lower the adjacent frequencies and leave your target frequencies at unity. Your master will drop a few decibels giving you additional headroom. Now boost the master up to unity or whatever level you want, and you end up achieving your goal of louder sub bass and highs without exceeding 0dbfs and clipping the signal. If there's a concept you don't understand, don't lash out at others in anger for not spelling out the concepts for you. It is not their responsibility to teach you. It is your responsibility to learn. KZbin is a great resource, but it is not a good resource for someone who knows nothing or is just starting out. There is so much bad information on this platform, and so many amateurs that have no idea what they're doing but are only after likes and subscriptions. There are a few textbooks that have been used for decades play professionals in this industry. You may not want to have to read, but that's where you're going to learn about the basics, and most importantly, become familiar with the terminology and core concepts

It's all relative, how you personally like your bass, treble and mids to sound, and the quality of the sound from the broadcasting source.
