I ordered an H&S and Sinister cold pipi and will compare the 2 when they come in. How is this product compared to the ones I ordered?

3 questions: 1) does custom piping like this for 2011-16 fit both the 2011-14 stock turbo? 2) Then if I upgrade to the 2015+ turbo w/retro fit kit will the tubing be obsolete? 3) Lastly does new tubing require new tunes since there is an air increase?

3 answers! 1) Yes, these work with the stock 11-14 turbo. 2) Should you switch to the 2015+ style turbo the cold side charge tube will work, but the hot side charge tube that connects to the turbo would then be obsolete; you'd need our 2015+ hot side instead, and finally 3) No tunes for these needed if you are installing with the Throttle Valve Adapter on the cold side. If you're getting a throttle valve replacement (because you have a previously tuned race / off-road truck), you won't need to alter your existing tune. The airflow gain over stock on these are minimal, these are more about replacing factory parts that continue to fail with parts that will last the lifetime of the truck.

Replaced my cold pipe when it blew. Never had any issues with the up pipe. Seems like IAC temps will go up with metal piping.

Does the kit that replaces the throttle body increase hp\torque more then the the other version. If you go with the throttle body replacement version what other mods are needed? Is there any testimonials of specs on increases

The throttle valve does inhibit some air flow, but if your truck is not tuned you cannot remove it. We haven't yet flow-benched these designs them for performance data; the primary reason most want to replace the cold-side is to get away from the failure-prone OEM part, rather than performance gains.

Is the stock throttle valve gasket non-reusable?

The stock gasket is more of a one time use item. The o-ring we supply can be reused if you ever unbolt the throttle valve replacement.

If I don’t use the added throttle valve do I still have to re-tune my truck? I still have a warranty and don’t want to void it.

If you want a solution that works for your stock / non-tuned truck, you'll pick the Cold Side Charge Tube with the Throttle-Valve Adapter (not replacement) - no tunes. Bolts directly to your current throttle valve and functions normally.

Is it possible to get the hot and cold side then upgrade at a later time to the full intake piping set? Only seeing the full set available.

You can buy them now (alone or as a kit) but if you want to upgrade to the full intake system it'll include a new cold side charge tube that connects all the way up to the intake manifold.
