The last scene is the best imo. It does a great job to show where Ramattra is coming from and how he slowly turned to villainy. I think Mondatta's assassination was the last straw and that's what convinced Ramattra that war was the only solution.

I think Ramattra might have been the one who ordered the hit on Mondatta. I specifically remember his attitude to Mondatta in his short story. He believed Mondatta kept the Omics complacent in the illusory believe that co-existence may be possible (and that he needed to go to protect his people).

@@MaZeW1 We also know that Ramattra had a discussion with Doomfist about the fight for the omnics after he left Shambali. And when Ramattra kills Zen in a game he says "And now, Mondatta's lessons have betrayed you, too".

it's just a shame we didn't see a little more... would of been hilarious sombra and widow thinking they'd get zenyatta easily... and then zenyatta proceeding to go all ninja monk on them

Yes, the characters do interact with each other throughout each mission. Which leads to some cool or funny moments.

I was very disappointed when they said their PvE plans for Overwatch 2 were dialed back, but I still really enjoyed those missions when they came out. Obviously a $40 singeplayer 20 hours game with a great story full of emotions and stakes would have been awesome, but I still hope they can bring danger and stakes and actual good storytelling with these. Make me scared of losing characters, damn! And actually do kill of some of the main cast, that would be so "cool"! I really love this universe and all its characters, I care about them, a lot of us do, and they should utilize that in their story to actually bring some tears or fear out of us. Fingers crossed. But with these huge layoffs, it's another disappointing news for Overwatch players. We'll see what happens, and I am really saddened and angry that all of those people lost their jobs.

You should definitely check out the hero interactions certain heroes have with one another before a round starts in the game. It’s not a ton of lore behind the interaction but some are really cute and some really serious it also brings more likeness to the characters themselves.

Heroes in Overwatch fall into one of three main categories, attack, support, and tank. Attack class characters are pretty simple, they have a weapon that deals damage and are usually the ones actively engaging in combat and have ultimate attacks that allow them to kill an enemy in one hit, make it easier to find targets, or let their teammates see targets that are too far or out of reach for them for them to get. Soldier 76, Genji, and Hanzo are attack class heroes and very popular since they can end whole teams by themselves if played right. Support class heroes are as the name suggests, they support everyone else with either healing them, like Mercy and Moira, creating gadgets and turrets like Thorbjorn and Symetra, hacking said gadgets like Sambra, or by buffing their allies and debuffing their enemies like Zenyatta and Lucio. Most of their ultimates are more op versions of their usual skills. Tanks are the heroes with the highest defense and health bars and have skills that make them immune to damage. D.Va, Reinhardt, Winston and a few others are known as the "main tanks" since they have the highest health bars and are a pain to take out without help from your team. Tanks have ultimates that either make them immortal or, in D.Va's case, turns her MEKA into a bomb and then she calls down a fresh one to keep on fighting. D.Va is very popular because she essentially has two health bars, her in the MEKA which is really strong as it has ridiculous health and defense with two machine guns for arms that do a lot of damage, and her when the suit is destroyed where it is just her by herself with a pistol where she is a much harder target to hit but the pistol doesn't do much damage. I haven't played much Overwatch since the days of Doomfist, but the meta is so hard to understand these days that it you'd be better off just watching someone with more experience than me explain how to be a very good and annoying character.

@@reign8198 for example Kiriko was training with Shimada Brothers when they were kids and now SHE's 21 and Hanzo 40 and Genji 37, if they really were training together she has to be -15years old, + her mother Shimada Brothers Master, is there age. How that happend?!

"Overwatch was shut down for a reason. It's time to move on." Oh man... just before the missions tied to these cinematics went live in the game Blizzard announced that the PVE campaign that Overwatch 2 was being built towards and that gamers had patiently waited on for years had been canned and wasn't going to happen. When Sojourn delivered that line in the cutscene, that shit cut deep. Fast forward to today, and all of the people who were working on pve elements for the game were fired in the Microsoft layoffs. Very bittersweet to be watching this with the knowledge that a lot of the people who worked on these things are now just gone from the company.

I like to interpret that scene differently, that Zenyatta set that meeting up with talon because maybe he’s seeing the benefits of working with them, like he said he is not a pacifist so it wouldn’t be terrible for him to work alongside them
