Funfact: Originally Ashe was just an antagonist for the Cowboy for this short and the short was intended as an announcement for Echo (robot lady). But when the developers saw Ashe they loved her so much they made her a playable character, and pushed Echo back to a later date.

I absolutely adore this cinematic. That standoff was so epic when I first watched it, and I never saw the last part with McCree driving by for the longest time. I love the chemistry between the two, and this cinematic helped turn McCree from "generic cowboy" in my mind to "honorable gunslinger with a not-so-honorable past".

Ashes comes from a rich family but she was still basically left on her own, with only Bob, her butler omnic, to look out for her. Eventually she abandoned her aristocratic life in order live how she wanted and make her own family of sorts. Her, B.O.B., and McRee were part of the founders of her Gang (the Deadlock gang). Their one big rule tho was to never sell out, as in accept death or imprisonment over joining the other side, and when McRee got captured by Overwatch he decided to join them instead of rotting in prison, so Ashe hasn’t forgiven him. They were never a couple, just Ashes found family

They were def a couple before in the past. McCree not only tipped them off to the train, but he use to be a part of the Deadlock gang. If you go back and look, right when he takes Ashe's motorcycle, there is a photo of a young McCree and Ashe on the gauge. And McCree was technically in Overwatch on the Black Ops teams, aka Blackwatch that was lead by Reaper. Who originally ran Overwatch during the war, then had his shine stolen from him by the guy that was put in charge, his best friend.

the whole eye thing in my opinion is a little cosmetic choice based off of anime design. usually in anime characters with white hair have golden or red eyes because it sorta fits color wise, it pops and stands out.

the robot that mccree woke up from that white container is called Echo because the scientist who made her uploaded her conscience in and its an "echo" of the scientist and she is es good friend to our lovely Monkey Friend Winston. the part about the red eyes thats an albino thing you may have seen allot of albino animals having red eyes and even in humans if you have albinism you normally have blue eyes but some times your blood vessels inside your eyes will show though the colored parts in your eye and make the eyes look pink or red and ofc its a cool thing to have red eyes in shows and games ;)

Also: i can't help but notice that you did reactions just for trailers and animated shorts, but not for Origin stories. Explanation: Not all heroes got their own animated short movies, like Widowmaker, Mei, Mcree, Bastion, Dva, Reinhart, Sombra, etc. Some just got a short, comic-like Origin story (similar to the Dragon-brothers story inside the "Dragons" animated short) Examples: 1. Warcraft - Sylvanas, Jaina, Azshara (my favorite), Gul'Dan, Illidan. 2. Overwatch - Tracer, Soldier: 76, The Junkers (Junkrat & Roadhog - Awesome one), Ana, Sombra, Orisa, King's Row Uprising, Doomfist, Moira, Brigitte, Wrecking Ball, Ashe, Baptiste, Sigma (My favorite), Echo You should really check them out, they offer additional details about the characters, they are emotional rollercoasters and the art style (both visual and audio) are nothing short of masterpieces.

So Ashe is lider of Deadlock Gang (also the story about her you gonna watch in future so i do not wanna spoiler anything), and thats mean she's bad but her gang is working alone they are not a part of Widowmaker, or Reapers group (Blackwatch). McCree was also a member of Deadlock Gang but he get in trouble and even to jail, and Gabriel Reyes (Reaper) took him under his wings and they started working in Overwatch and also short time later they become a part of Blackwatch. Reaper is still in Blackwatch but McCree runaway from theres group (and i do not know the details but when he did that, he somehow lost his arm) and Overwatch. He is a freelancer right now.

Nah, nobody is a member of Blackwatch anymore. It got disbanded automatically when Overwatch was disbanded (one of the major reasons Overwatch was disbanded was Blackwatch. The public didn't like their peacekeeping force having a secret Black Ops team). Reaper/Reyes is a member of Talon now. :)
