Honestly...people think they want this but I can only imagine not even a few games in people will remember how unbalanced and unfun several things were, lol. It was great at the time but it was all we knew. Now if I get frozen by Mei more than a couple times or hit by one flashbang -> fan the hammer oneshot I'll probably quit and never go back. The 5v5 or 6v6 debate will never reach a consensus, but I maintain that pretty much the only thing that Overwatch classic did that was superior to Overwatch "2" was the monetization system - or lack thereof.

I would really like to have an arcade mode where you can play with every hero iteration and be selectable from the hero select screen, shielded Bastion? you got it, double turret Torb? done, etc.

That as well as being able to select from a list of different abilities, each costing a certain number of points that have to be used up based upon how potent they are so you don't get an overpowered hero. Like take one of the characters that has had the most changes in Symmetra. Her portal only ult would be worth the equivalent of like 1 point, the shield gen/portal ult 2 points, and the barrier ult 3 points. You would even be able to cull from the variations in those limited time game modes like Brig's grapping hook ability. Sure it'd be more of a pain to balance, but it'd also be more fun.

I was one of the few that actually loved when they brought back competitive no limits in the arcade and played the f out of it! It was always a free win when the other team did a full 6 stack of 1 hero lol. 3 of 1 hero can be good, 2 is good, 4 can work but I wouldn't recommend doing more than 3. If you wanna take it serious pick something that compliments what the people on your team is stacking! For example if your team is stacking Sym for the car wash meme (only do 3 or 4 at most) having a hog or 2 with a healer would be a really good idea to counter the Winstons they'll swap to when they see the Syms... Maybe a hitscan if you can aim incase they play Pharah for the Syms. If your team is stacking Winstons throw a couple supports and a Zarya in with him at least. No limits can be fun af if you play it in a way where you build a more well rounded comp. It might not be the most preferred patch but hey at least we get some form of Classic Overwatch!

This is just a silly arcade mode, but there are REAL 6v6 tests coming in Season 14 (next season) which will make a real crack at balancing 6v6 in Overwatch 2. This dev team is locked in.

This isnt just intended to be a limited time game mode.... this is the series of test about bringing 6v6 back as the next test will happen in first half S14, the 2-2-2 comp or min 1, max 3 comp (whatever order its in).... There obviously testing for future heroes and to see what abilities could stand up to the current live game.... Personally, im looking forward to it but im also hesitant as it was frustrating playing against certain heroes and certain maps/chokepoints Will see i guess Least we're getting a lot of testing on 6v6 if they do decide to bring it back and putting it in our hands

Again, Blizzard did this in Hearthstone. Limited Classic mode, they didn't support it at all and ultimately failed. If that's anything close to that it's deemed to fail. I really hope it works and people like it so much that they start adding stuff to it and develop it more.
