21:49 I think you missed what the player was going for. There is now less then 1:30 left in the match. IF they win this fight... the enemy will have 1 last solid push. When he hits tab, he sees his Zarya is only 37% to ult. Nanos Zarya for ult farming and it works. Zarya goes to 85%. That's 48% ult gained in 15 seconds. Ends up with Zarya Ult in time for Hanzo, while having the powerful Zen+Bionade counter for enemy Dragon Grav.

Was gonna write a comment about it as well before I saw yours. This is absolutely correct. The nanoboost basically gave Zarya a grav for next fight, that's amazing for your ult economy. Nanoboost isn't and has never been purely about winning a fight with it, it's a tool to keep your ult economy rolling, and a nano that, like in this example, wins a fight AND builds a grav is the best you can hope for. It's so much better than a nanoblade or whatever other ult combo in the greater picture.

You got your analysis so wrong of that second fight under the bridge: at 8:47 you can see the enemy Zarya steps in front of the enemy Rein and takes the shield bash (so Rein didnt "go too early" - the shield bash was just blocked), which is why the D.va and Zarya are caught by the shatter. The enemy Rein then counter-shatters, which catches the friendly Rein, which you fail to notice, and then call out the enemy shatter as a possible occurrence in the next fight. And finally it wasnt "just chatter" about the friendly Grav being eaten - it was eaten. You can hear the voice line at 8:58. Your advice about making adjustments on the basis of what ULTs are coming online is solid, but it just looks lazy when you don't bother to demonstrate that habit properly yourself.

@@stolemycoconut5448 his first tip was play where zen was playing.. The ana and brig had side room covered the brig was using shield to see both sides. Zen is fine in that position if ana was playing in that position the other team would simply push the hanzo onto high ground and your down 2 supports. Its likley how the zen died not because of a lucky arrorw. The tanks aren't playing for that position they are far up holding under bridge because they have a brig. Hows that help anyone in diamond? Your tanks can hold 3 lines on defense abd in this game ana is in the right. the only tip would be she should have known that push was coming and pulled back. For ult tracking, I give each ult a letter (usually the one it starts with) capital for they def have them and lower case for maybe, this gives you two "words" for this fight and possibly next fight. and I can spell out what they have AND what we have. Once your familiar with this, It becomes very easy to track all 6 enemy ults (as well as your own without having to think or hit tab/think) at the same time because you will see similar patters in the "words" they are making. In my head it goes like TN counters GD. trance, nano counters grav draggon. or we have NB (nano blade) or BB(beat blade) (or OG beyblade, lul I wish). I've been using this system for about 5 weeks and I've gone from nebulously tracking a couple ults by gut, to trackingall of them very accurately over the entire match, and it takes less braiin power then the shitty half track I had been doing.
@raccoonious40384 жыл бұрын
Watched this when I was in silver. Now I'm in plat and it's an entirely different video to me somehow. I would recommend all bronze/silver/gold players to wtach this and just absorb what kind of plays are at stake here. Forget completely about it and watch it again when you reach plat. I wouldn't worry about not understanding every intricate detail though. Watch it again when you've played the game more and you'll understand (I sound like an old ggondae lool) I just couldn't help myself but make a comment on that zen. Trans is really powerful in that it could have literally saved them from grav/shatter with trans - but he kept on feeding his brains out and died early on. He also seemed to be one of the earliest picks in the game and used trans only to keep himself alive. While we should only focus on what we can improve - I wanted to make this comment because sty doesn't seem to dig into this and in case people get the impression that the zen's (who played with ana) plays are acceptable. FYI - if you meet a zen like that on your team I wouldn't flame at them for feeding and poor trans usage. They have the SR to be in your team because they make up for it in other ways and/or there are other teammates who have higher SR because he has lower SR. Rather - it's important to ask the question - how do I use that to my advantage? How do I win even with a feeding zen with no trans? While I might remind him about saving trans for gravs or shatter, I wouldn't necessarily force him to change playstyle because you're even more likely to lose that way. I believe that is more likely to result in a win

Assuming now that you get a target like hog back up to 600 hp we are not just calculating the nano hp alone but total health that is now potentially buffered.
@akira38716 жыл бұрын
Jesus Ladron. We can only take into account the 300 from nano because there are way too many variables to consider otherwise. There are only 6 characters in the game that would benefit from the full 300 from nano anyway, but let's stick with Hog. No one will attack a nano Hog unless there's nothing else to shoot anyway because with his Take a Breather + nano he would be pretty much impossible to kill, so he would only benefit from the initial heal and not the damage reduction in the majority of cases. If Hog was at anything less than 300 health then he wouldn't get to 600. And if we go with your assumption that you get Hog to full health that would be 1200 effective health (not including Take a Breather), not 600.

xInsamity so is that why your lower than stylosa 😂😂
@akira38716 жыл бұрын
Guys, we all know Xinsamity is better than us all and could be top 500 If he wanted. He just chooses to play at a lower tank so we lower skilled players can witness his awesomeness as well.

Stylosa is masters, difference between di and masters is quiite small, not surprising that you corrected him on a point.

Heyyyyy Waddup @unitlost! I've taken a liking to your videos, especially more of the OverAnalyzed series, and I've learned a bunch. Sometimes even just jumping straight into Overwatch and applying the "new skills" I've learned and improving my performance for the day at least. I don't have any footage I'm able to send in for the request I have, but I do have something that I hope can be addressed. I'm not sure I've seen it in any videos, or well explained, on how to get better at the kill feed system. When something happens you instantly know who has died and who should have ults and whatnot. How do I get better at just looking, reading and retaining the kill feed info? I do notice it ocasionally, but I don't retain much of the information, or the "effective information" it gives me. I feel like I'm a decent player, but could improve on watching the kill feed more but I just don't know how with all the other information that bombards my senses. Any help is appreciated! :)

It just takes time and practice. Always be mindful of enemy ults and deciding whether to engage or disengage by looking at the kill feed.

Whenever I play ranked, (I'm low gold) no one is in voice chat, there's no such thing as a group fight, everyone just die and never regroup, they go all alone to 1v6. I play ana/moira/mercy and I want to get out of this rank so much 😭

nice videos guess ima watch some more ;) the dude where you said you think it's german and confirmed it was german the 2nd time he spoke -> yes it's german but not from germany but rather austria if i am not mistaken (regarding his dialect). the first thing he said was just an expression of frustration and translates to something like "oh come on" - so nothing bad rly.

I’m only a third of the way through but I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t mention ability usage. Every nade is followed up with a lotta times an unnecessary sleep dart, in my opinion at least.
