Pyro has an alt fire on all his flamethrowers except one that blasts air. Its used to extinguish burning teammates, blow stickybombs away, and more importantly it can reflect projectiles back at the enemy.

Yeah, Abraham Lincoln invented stairs to replace rocket jumping in 1857, 300 years after Shakespearicles (the strongest writer who ever lived) invented the two-story building, the stage play, America and the rocket launcher. It wasn't until 1921 when Franklin D Roosevelt found his stairs blueprints (with his legs gone after being blown up by rocket jumping), perfecting the modern staircase and "freeing people from the tyranny of the second floor". Just some first grade level history.

Pyro’s flamethrower has airblast (using M2 to trigger), which can propel enemies back but more importantly, projectiles. If a pyro uses airblast as a rocket is coming towards them, they can reflect it back, it also works for demoman’s grenades, sticky bombs, and basically any other projectile Pyro does have a fair amount of health but it’s nowhere near the highest, which is Heavy at 300 (A normal rocket does exactly 100 damage if it hits directly)

so to explain trolldier Instead of a damaging rocket launcher, a shotgun, and a shovel you carry a special rocket launcher that deals no damage to yourself in exchange for dealing no damage to enemies, wear a pair of boots that make landing on people transfer and triple your fall damage to them instead of the shotgun, and a...different kind of shovel that deals triple damage if you hit an enemy while blast jumping with it. as far as heath Scout, engineer, sniper, and spy all have a base health of 125. medic has 150 demoman and pyro have 175 soldier has 200 heavy has 300. A rocket deals a base damage of 90. However, there's a mechanic in this game that modifies your damage based on proximity. In this case, the rocket launcher can deal up to 112 damage at point blank and as low as 45, which does mean you do less damage the further away the target is from you. Strangely, Soldier's rockets depend on how far away he is from the target to calculate this amount, so if he fires a rocket and then rocket jumps over, it'll still hit for it's max damage if he gets there faster than the rocket does

If it's not too much trouble, since you seem to actually be going in playlist order, once you get to them, would you react to the "extras" videos as well? since so many people who react to this series just skip over them, but for pretty much all of the extras, Lazy put in just about as much effort into them as well! The Extras video for Demoman might even be more detailed and content filled than the actual regular video! The Extras videos start after engineer, there is one inbetween each video from that point on, but i believe the official playlist has all of the videos in order.

2:54 pretty much. (provided they have the gunboats item equipped which reduces self damage from explosions since without them you can't really rocket jump much without putting yourself at death's door) rocket jumping has a potential to greatly outclass scout's mobility which with combination of good burst damage turns you into a sizable danger. 3:55 not really. the maximum amount of damage a non critical rocket can deal is 112. since by default the lowest amount of max HP is 125 it means that you will need to hit at least 2 direct hit to kill a squishy target. You may also have to shoot more when you dont hit the directs and/or are shooting too far away. 5:28 here's a more detailed explanation of the trolldier loadout: primary: rocket jumper. it has triple of the default launcher's ammo but it deals no damage to anyone and forbids you from picking up the briefcase in capture the flag. as you may have guessed it's primary purpose is much safer rocket jumping. secondary: mantreads. this passive item gives you significantly more air strafing control but also allows you to deal damage to enemies by falling on their heads. melee: market gardener. the trolldier's playstyle revolves around this weapon. it has slower swing speed but after rocket jumping every hit will be critical until you hit the ground meaning that if you rocket jump and manage to hit someone right before landing you'll deal 195 damage in a single hit which is enough to one shot every class except heavy and soldier. 9:54 yes, pyro has 175 health which is a bit more than 125 of an average squishy.

To put soldier rockets into perspective... Rockets do 110 damage at close range, but on average 90-102 damage on a direct hit and splash doing usually 60-80. Light classes have 125 hp, medics have 150 hp, medium classes have 175 hp, soldier has 200 hp and heavy has 300 hp base. Medics can overheal everyone but themselves 50% higher, so heavies have 450 hp when overhealed for example. (And themselves with a quick fix or a fellow medic.) But not everyone is overhealed since it decays over 10 seconds so most rockets are 2-3 shots. Besides the direct hit which does 140 damage on a close range hit, which oneshots light classes.

The TF2 verse is a strange one, and the Soldier is probably one of the brightest examples of it. Canonically, the teams are given bottled water to drink by the administrator due to the high levels of lead in the groundwater of the region they are fighting over, only Soldier didn't get that memo and has been drinking the groundwater for years. He was also batshit insane even before that. No the rocket launcher is not a one-shot weapon. It can land critical hits which are an exception but typically no, depending on the fight it's going to take 2-3 rockets to kill someone. The damage is also proportionate to the distance the soldier is from the target when it lands as opposed to when it is fired. Meaning you can launch a rocket from across the map, use rocket jumps to get really close to the target and actually hit for maximum damage if you're talented enough to move that quick. It is ironic that for the most insane character in the game (barring pyro) he's got one of the highest skill caps of any of the classes. New players tend to default to scout being the fastest class, but ardent pros know the real fast classes are Soldier and Demoman. As for Trolldier. With a lot of people putting tons of hours into the game over many years many reached a point where the straightforward gameplay became a bit, meh for Soldiers. That is until a certain string of events unfolded. A new set of items was given out for the class including a new rocket launcher, a secondary that acted as a parachute when activated, and a new melee shovel. At a glance the shovel was, kinda lame. No random critical hits, and a slightly slower swing speed made people dismiss it for a bit, but it came with one major upside. If you rocket jumped and hit someone before landing, you got a guaranteed crit as a reward. Valve no doubt intended for this item to be something akin to a dueling gimmick used in tandem with the parachute by Soldiers floating in the air with one another, but with the community of challenge-minded individuals that comprise TF2 people are always looking for a gimmick to exploit for a bit of fun. The shovel known as The Market Gardener would really take off when Valve introduced yet another rocket launcher for Soldier known as the Rocket Jumper. A primary that did no damage but had more ammo and still repelled the user like a regular rocket would allowing them to practice jumping without the pesky nuisance of taking damage every time you shot at your feet. This final piece allowed people to finally put a forced emphasis on only using the Market Gardener to get kills and gave birth to the Trolldier, named thusly because the playstyle serves no purpose whatsoever beyond flexing on your enemy and making them mad by delivering one shots from above. You are largely a detriment to your own team as well as you are not doing the things a Soldier is best at, but that goes by the wayside in pubs.
@Thugshaker1237 ай бұрын
soldier takes damage when he rocket jumps normally but with a item called gunboats it reduces the damage but there is a rocket jumper it has no self damage and enemies! (also I forgot its not a one shot kill heavy classes need 2-3 shots to die but light classes can take 2 shots when they are overhealed)

In terms of health Heavy has the most health at 300 Soilider comes in second with 200 Pyro and Demoman come in third with 175 in fourth is Medic with 150 everyone else has a base health of 125.
@menacingpyro20058 ай бұрын
(Sorry I wrote a lot) Rocket launchers in TF2 (unless augmented by MvM upgrades or VALVE employees, or are an unlock that increases or decreases base damage) only deal around 100 damage. Each class has a different max health depending on the class. Scout, Engineer, Sniper, and Spy all have 125 HP, they are light classes. Medic is also a light class but he has 150 HP. Pyro and Demoman have 175 HP, they are standard/medium classes, along with Soldier who has 200 HP. Heavy is a tank class, with 300 HP. Some unlockable/droppable weapons increase this default max HP threshold. Like the Conniver’s Kunai makes spy have 70 HP but let’s him get absurd amounts of extra HP on top of it (up to 450 that decays over time) via backstabs giving lifesteal. Or the Gunslinger for engineer bumping his HP up to 150 and replacing his default sentry with a smaller one. Pyro has the ability to reflect projectiles and push people around with “airblast” on all flamethrowers with the exception of the Phlogistonator. Reflected projectiles deal mini crit damage. Don’t shoot rockets at the funny flamethrower maniac

Can't wait until you watch how it feels to play demoman and pyro! Also another thing about tf2 is that theres a gamemode that i will talk about which is mann vs machine where a team fights/defend themselves against robots that would have a bomb and try to get to the vault to blow it up and win. If you beat all 6 waves you win but it kinda gets little harder each waves because there tanks giant robots with medics and other stuff. Theres another mode in mann vs machine (i forgot the name of it) that is a bit different from the regular one because its somewhat harder and you can win weapons like stranges (i forgot what the strange weapons do) and other stuff like australium weapons (which basically is nice looking gold color on it and cost alot on steam community store and also harder and rareto contain/get a Australium weapon in mvm) but you need tickets to play the mode which u can buy. In the mann vs machine theres money system where if u kill the robots they drop money (known as in game credits) or survive waves u get credits and what you do with them is go to spawn and theres a little area that is called upgrades and you can make ur gun shoot faster,fire resistance, blast resistance, more ammo, and other good upgrades. If you play mann vs machine around the halloween update theres a mode called wave 666 which is very hard and have to think of strategies to beat the whole wave. There will alot of robots like ALOT. I think i mostly cover up all the things about this mode and if u want you can watch the trailer which i think its litreally called mann vs machine Edit: There is two mann vs machine videos one is mann vs machine sound of medicines and the other mann vs machine. Another edit: i forgot to mention is that if you die fighting theres a machine that medic can use his medigun on, which shows what class your playing and saying u need to be revive above it.Once they fully revive you i think u get a couple of seconds of speed boost (i believe) and you can get back to fighting set of waiting for respawn

strange weapons have counters in their descriptions that primarily track the mount of kills you've gotten with them (the non lethal weapons either track a different statistic mostly depending on the item's primary function or they can't have a strange variant at all)
