Yuup Yupup I think he meant creating custom games just to run around on the maps and learn them. I tried that but I'm just a bit too dumb to realize what are good and bad paths. This birds eyes view also gives a great overview of the maps. Learning from experience is certainly the most complete but a series such as this gives a great jumpstart to the learning process :)
@ArgentumEmperio8 жыл бұрын
+Yuup Yupup You do realize this is the very same thing that litterally ALL professional players do to get better right...? Can you figure out enemy positions by doing this? Yes. How? By thinking "How would I position myself to be the most effective" and then playing to those strengths. Sorry, but you aren't even stating an opinion right now - you are just about as wrong as one can humanly get in terms of any competitive game right now. I can't tell too much about legalized murder but hey', if you associate murder with Call of Duty - I wouldn't blame yer'... I would however send you to a psychiatric ward for mental care tho'.

Man that last shortcut though the window, never even noticed it. An effective sneak attack could really alleviate the pressure on the attacking team if they are having trouble breaking through the main gates. Really nice tip. You've made some useful videos, but this one was the best by far. I hope you'll consider making more of these map guides. There are tons of "hero guides" out there, but in my opinion learning the maps in the thick of a match is harder than learning the heroes. Well done.

Awesome dude, keep making these map guides. Even with the stress test weekend and open beta (with early access), there are some maps which in all the chaos I still haven't learned well. It's nice to know certain things like ideal turret positions, sniper roosts, etc. Symetra I want to get better at, but so much of her playstyle is knowing where to put her turrets.

Majority of games I've played the attacking team never used the left flank on the second point. Made for an easy way to get behind them with junkrat and drop a ton of grenades on them while all clumped up at the main choke point, thinking they are all safe and cosy behind Reihardt's shield.
@jackiezeng9858 жыл бұрын
The thing about the big health kit under the bridge, what I like to do as junk rat on defense is to drop a tap on the health pack itself and stick the mine on the roof. When someone tries to flank or get the health kit, it's an easy kill and a great shut down. Even if the player doesn't die immediately you can drop down and shoot them in the face with your grenades

When you were talking about D VA at the end, I hoped you would mention that it can serve as a sniper spot for offence. You'll be looking right into the last point from there. It's good if they keep peaking the middle part of the point and it'll outrange pretty much anyone who's holding last. It might be a bit passive and I didn't have time to test it out too much before the beta weekend ended.

I didn't catch if you mentioned it at all, but watch for Bastions behind the wall under the floating skiff. I noticed that he can pretty much clip his turret through the wall and shoot without being subject to direct damage. Had one ace the less knowing players on a team for about 4 minutes once, as for some reason no one would use the side or back exits.

at 6:04 on the right choke point you didn't mention the 2 pillars that have a piece of stone over the top of them, you can actually stand on top of that and the little platform behind them. it is quite exposed but imo just like you said, a Widowmaker can jump up there and be unexpected to get 1 or 2 snipes out of their supports/bastion
