Loving your Advent greetings and tidbits of knowledge! A colleague of mine has a snowy owl and says she's quite thick. She even looks it! 😅 But she's beautiful nonetheless. I've got my mum-in-law watching you each morning, and as she's from northern England but lives in Germany, she enjoys listening to you. 😊

I think owls are brilliantly fit for purpose. It could be their stubbornness, staring off into the distance ( mentally exiting the trainer ) and vision defects up close that makes them seem thick to us . The birds that we can mentally understand are labeled “ smart. “
