You know, sometimes we look around us and see every one that was with us in school succeeding, marrying, studying, making something that they are happy about... And them we look at ourselves and feel hopeless... But the truth is, maybe is not our time yet. This song helps me remember that life is not a race, and we can take things slow, at our own pace. I only wish that the people around me could understand it too, that not everybody needs a rush life. It doesn't mean you're lazy or you're slow, living the moment is not about YOLO, but about appreciating the present moment and making plans to appreciate life even more. So I’ve listened to this song ever since it came out. Today I was cruising by myself and when this song came on I literally broke down into tears. (I never cry!) Along with Bird With A Broken Wing, I’ve never related with a song so perfectly. I am the type who always finishes last and is always alone. I feel like no matter how hard I try, I can never prove myself. I always see others succeeding and living life to the fullest and I can’t help but wonder when it will be my turn. Over the past year, I’ve faced many trials and kept wondering why so many bad things kept happening to my family and I. But after hearing this song, I discovered that I am God’s creation and he has a purpose for me, even if I can see it. I feel like God has placed Adam in a world where people can hear his songs and stories to uplift them. I am truly inspired. Although I don’t see my finish line yet, I believe it is somewhere out there. Thank you for using the talent God gave you to help all the tortoises out there!

Ahahahahaha best comment! It's what I thought! But I love how Adam isn't afraid to express what is relevant to him. So many pop songs are about "super cool" stuff. This song may seem less smashing at first, but then you understand it's about real life. I've always been head in the clouds and slow at accomplishing tasks. I'm in law school, and honestly where I go to study, the environment is pathetically negative. People are unmotivated and my closest of friends talk about getting no jobs and internships in future and what not. But thanks to Adam, this song gives me hope.
