In all seriousness, this song is amazing. I've been listening to your music for nearly 9 years now, ever since I heard Firefly for the first time on the radio. Your songs have helped me in dark times, whenever I felt sad or afraid. One of my favorite songs during these times was Tidal Wave, because of the line "but I don't need a telescope to see that theres hope and that makes me feel brave". That line always rang out to me in the dark and reminded me to hang on and not give up. I remember bawling when I first heard This Isn't the End, because my father committed suicide 6 years ago and that song shook me to the core. Owl city, Adam Young, I love your music so much. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you evolve as I've grown up, and I hope I can continue to enjoy your music for years to come. Thank you so much

Okay I’ve gone through everyone of his songs carefully. From words to music, this song is probably his greatest masterpiece. And it’s about his fiancé, I think now wife per Coco Moon’s last album song. But anyway, composing, to words, to finish, this song is thee culmination of everything he is, his love and emotions, and the gifts God gave him, to blast it into 1 beautiful masterpiece about meeting her. God bless you Adam and thank you.

This song is a masterpiece in my personal opinion. The story told simply from the instrumental is perfection, from the lonely somewhat sad build-up of the slow piano to the large grand feeling that hits when the all the instruments come in. Especially towards the end of the song, i could really feel the emotions as if he let everything out to his partner. It might not be my personal favourite from the album at the moment, but this song is perfect.

His best song since Beautiful Times in my opinion. The mix of orchestral sound, pop rock, and a hint of trademark Owl City synth ... I've never heard anything like it. And it works oh so well. It's like a sequel to his rendition of 'Waving Through a Window', in that its lyrics and style are inspired by Broadway music ( I bet Adam would love to be a composer/actor for a musical ). Please make more songs like this one, Adam!

If some of you don't know, Adam took some time off and did some thematic orchestral-style music. I just listened to his Apollo 11 album and song "Return to Earth." Words can't describe how beautiful this song is. I want desperately to try, but I know anything I can say wouldn't come close. This song has tapped into something unknown and more beautiful than itself. I wish more people could hear this and truly understand that, I think, I can feel this in my soul. No one I know, however, can appreciate this. To them, it's just a song. Words and notes strung together. Their interest lasts only for the length of the song, and then, they move on. It doesn't affect them. I wish they could know.....

[Verse 1] In a basement of an empty house I slept on the floor like a vagrant I braved a Minnesota winter night And drove to a movie feeling lonely And as I thawed my heart out by the light Of the silver screen I was unaware that you were there In the dark A silhouette was climbing up the stairs And what I thought in the parking lot Was like I just wanna know your name I drove away with not much to say But in my hand I held the paper bird And written on it were the words "Be brave" [Verse 2] Wildflower knew I wasn’t well But on the kitchen floor I got better again I grabbed my keys and drove toward a star And there I was understood for the first time in my life Cause that’s when I was introduced to true serendipity I knew it when you showed up again In the snow yeah I was always told Your heart is where you’re home And what I thought in the coffee shop Was like the last eight hours was a dream I drove away with not much to say But in my hand I held a paper bird And written on it were the words [Bridge] Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh oh oh "OK, I'll be brave" Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh oh oh "OK, I'll be brave" [Verse 3] And in my mind After all this time I think "Ain't life beautiful and strange ?" Meaningful lyrics associated with powerful instrumental. It is amazing to see how Adam put his heart into this song and how he translated such a personal story into music. The "bridge" of the song is clearly "Return to Earth" from the Apollo 11 Score. It makes the song sounds familiar even if the "style" is different from the other Owl City songs. Definitely, one of the best songs he ever created since Ocean Eyes and ATB&B.

As mixed as this album is to people, I personally think this is one of his better album he's released in a while. It isn't no ocean eyes or maybe I'm dreaming, but this album definitely has a style of its own, at least to me. Just like midsummer station, I think this is one of his more underrated albums too. This album has some pretty good songs in it. I love the genuine lyrics in The 5th of July, I love the excitement and positivity that Cinematic gives off, I love the vivid imagery and creative lyrics in Lucid Dream, I love the charming lyrics to Cloud 9 and this song I love it's message and pacing. I personally think that this song is one of the best songs that Adam has made ever. I'd say I put it up there with fireflies, rainbow veins and vanilla twilight for being the best

I feel like, if somebody really doesn’t like this song, they mustn’t understand music. This is such a beautiful song. ❤️

This is some throwback Owl City vibes right here. Reel 3 is definitely the album’s best songs.

Can’t get enough of this track! So much of a Matt Thiessen influence, from the piano lines to the string and horn parts. Love every second of it!!
