Great to see you back, as someone who has a 3D printer I know that it’s not cheap for good quality prints, for a good price estimate I’d probably say close to 200-300 for a preprinted version, I haven’t gotten the files yet but based off my experience each piece cost 2-7 bucks in filament and 6-20 hours in print time

I really like your channels and see you put alot of work in to them with the effect,thats something i been liking about I could be wrong but i think when it comes to collectable things everyone will look at who have is first and maybe thats the reason why your views are down plus crap on youtube you spend along time on edits which i and everyone like. I know you hears this alot but i think doing a quick summery of the toy with little effect and make a big project with the toys. Thanks, yeah, for some reason everyone insists on us being toy reviewers, when that's not at all what we initially presented to the fandom. We always tried to show fans creative and unique videos. It wasn't meant to be an unboxing channel, it was animation and visual effects, and focusing on me as a collector, and the cool and unique things I do with my collection. I'm a guy who worked on Power Rangers. You'd think that would be interesting to people, and everyone would expect more from people with our background. It's like trying to hire a chef with 35 years of experience making fancy food to sweep the floor at McDonald's. We're capable of so much more than opening a box of toys, but that's all so many of our viewers seem to want... but to make it worse, that's the very thing they won't watch. Toy reviews are dead and not just for us. Doesn't matter if you're first or last, at least for our channel. When we were at our height, I was able to drive over to Bandai (or people from Bandai even came to my house a few times) and I was able to have the very first video up. That quickly resulted in hate, jealousy, resentment, and backlash from fans. Long story short, that really did us no favors, and the quick videos didn't do much for us, it was always the animation, b/c it was fun and something people would watch, and watch again, showing KZbin engagement, resulting in our channel being suggested more and more. And when half a million of your subs pass on everything you post, KZbin goes the other way and hides you. I think that channel is officially in a hole. Our regulars become gatekeepers and when so many say "no" to every video, the video gets shut down before it has a chance to be shown to the people who might watch it. Everything you've suggested is literally what you're seeing on the channel. That's always how I've run it. The Pink Galaxy video was online 6 days after the figure was released. And that was a super fancy video. And while nobody watched it on our channel, I say that compared to how many subscribers we have, and our normal range, if you search LC pink galaxy on KZbin, our video still has 14,000 more views on it than any other upload, including videos that were posted before mine. People simply aren't watching reviews anymore. If we weren't doing fancy unique things, the channel would be doing even worse. But 140 hours of work for $5 obviously isn't sustainable for much longer. 😕

When people put in to much work like you and mia more people should view you two earn it. is there anyway to cut down on how much hour of work you do just two people doing 140 hours is taxing on one body/health if your only making 5$ to 50$ per video right now. And as much as i love all the effect people come to see mai and you. it started as a effect channel not a toy reivew but i think you have pull off both at the same time and i believe you will bounce back quickly. That's a shame that a lot of the videos aren't doing well except Mighty Morphin, I'm really tired with the oversaturation of Mighty Morphin, it's the most marketable season and it's not even the best season, those go to In Space, Lost Galaxy, Time Force, Wild Force, Dino Thunder, and RPM

I think a lot of issues facing power rangers is that all of the hasbro seasons are locked to Netflix, and Netflix is dying between prices increasing and the crackdown on password sharing. Nobody wants to deal with them. I'm not even watching season 3 of witcher. A slow i loved. I have a ballpark number for an un painted dark dimension set. That's probably either insulating low or way higher than what was actually offered. And i haven't looked into asking my friends that have printers yet. Im.guessing around 400 hundred dollars to have you and mia do it, but what ever the cost i think it would be worth it.

Bruno, I think the short attention spans of the audience is starting to affect KZbin video views. No one can sit long enough to watch a full video. Maybe doing more KZbin shorts might he better however monetization works with those I'd at all or try TikTok which I can't stand and don't recommend. No one watches TV anymore at least like how we used to and now it's KZbin shorts and TikToks.

The low attention span viewers have always been a thing on MMPRtoys, we just used to have enough views to keep the channel funded. People watching toy content are considered "low quality viewers" by advertisers, due to how long they tend to watch the video for. If MMPRtoys had been a finance channel with the same number of views, Mia and I would have a private island or two right now, instead of ultimately passing on a can of "pricey" olives at Weis. 😛 I cannot adequately express my hated of vertical phone videos. I think we're too old for TikTok, which the US keep threatening to ban. I've been doing shorts since June or July and they just attract more low attention span people who will never go to the main channel and watch something longer. Shorts pay pennies and it's not fun to make them. The PR audience seems especially concerned about how much "passion" the creator has. There's doing things just to make money, and there's doing things that excite you and/or that you enjoy creating and sharing with other people. In the case of shorts, I'd be doing something that does not bring me joy, which also does not make money, but still occupies my time. And despite having a back library of 16 years, it's hard to repurpose all of that work we've done b/c shorts show a third of the picture. (I've tried to make some older videos work for shorts and it's not fun.) The only thing PR fans are showing up for is clickbait titles with AI voice-overs over recycled show footage everyone's seen a billion times already. I'd rather do something else entirely than make garbage like that. At least pick a niche that pays if you're making a faceless garbage channel. Right now it just seems like everyone suggests ways to dumb down our channel and reach more people with a 2 second attention span, instead of us doing the things we do well and are at least somewhat fulfilling as artists. If we had MMPRtoys views on this channel, we'd be doing very well. The people who came over here and stayed for Bruno and Mia actually watch a lot of, if not the entire video. (Easy to tell who's here for PR and BruMia by the comments). Our goal on KZbin isn't to make garbage for people w/o an attention span. We're seeing if our etsy store can go anywhere, and thinking about starting a new channel or two, that is *not* aimed at a toy fandom. People still watch videos on KZbin, just not about Power Ranger toys.

Great vlog! I like the vlogs on patreon, hope more people jump over there to keep up with you guys! I think we'll in a big of a transition point for PR. Dino Fury isn't great and cosmic fury is gonna be so short. Probably no reboot next year, so it's a bit of a cooling time for PR. Yeah that type of printed stuff is never going to match what people 'think' it should cost because we are so used to big manufactured things made overseas, that's how you bring the costs down. If hasbro made that set it would be so cheap but it's because they have the manufacturing pipeline to make it cheap. Keep on keeping on you guys!

I just ordered my 3D file from the Rtsy store. 🙂 If i had to put a price on purchasing a printed & shipped model - given the cost of filament, shipping, etsy fees, and the amount of time to print, i would say about $75. Low production items have more overhead & people need to realize that. It isn't like you have a faem of printers churning out models 24/7. All that said, if you ever feel like selling the file for the Zeo Power Chamer, i wouldnt be mad about it.

oh and i had to use jb plastic weld putty on the ball joint of my spd unmorphed z figure to thicken up the ball joint then sand to get the perfect fit for the lightning collection head , so you will need to do same with the custom figure i gave you or find a thicker ball joint

Another idea for selling 3d prints: can you farm it out to a person or company that does bulk prints, then sell individually with a mark up? I’d be willing to pay $100-150 if it seemed like a full set and was PR specific rather than generic fantasy pieces. What I have, while cost effective, isn’t based on anything from the series, so that also has a nice value-added aspect

excellent shots of lightning bolts out the window, hasbro is getting insane with their toy costs which is why things are sitting on shelfs , well i don't know what your etsy fees are but for a physical copy i'd pay $60 for half a set and $100 for a complete octagon set with shipping between 20 and 50, but of course if you figure out what the actual value is then you could add the shipping cost to the price and offer free shipping

I feel like a lot of people are completely out of touch with how much custom made things can cost, probably because we are so used to factory made things that are cheaper than ever. Personally, I'm fine with paying whatever it may cost for the creator of the product to get what they need out of it, but I'm not sure how much that would be. I try to keep in mind that I really don't know just how much time, effort, material costs, shipping costs, etc goes into developing things and selling them thereafter, so I just trust the prices that are given.

in regards to the price of something you actually print out for someone and mail off, Calculate your hourly wage requirement and apply that to print time + material costs including overhead for 1 failed full print per item + S&H + Paypal and ETSY fees. I'd say sell them in 3 segment sets, if they buy 2 of them in the same order include 2 extra segments so they can have a full 8 sided octagon I'd say the 3 segment should run after shipping $250 like any other high quality thing like Warhammer 40k scenery or figure it is worth it. if you can sell 4 in month on a good month, take half that and invest in another printer and repeat that every two months and if things are really good, invest in on sight print print studio.

I think its more of the unknown of where Power Ramgers is going to go with Power Rangers leaving NZ for filming and rumors of going animated and and rebooting from scratch no one wants to get into it. The last thing I'd gotten Ranger wise was the Raph Tommy cross-over. And I don't believe people realize how much 3D printing costs let alone if they want the people to print the items but I believe once Power Rangers has their footing again the videos are going to ramp up for sure.

I’ll need to join your Patreon. I Missed the vlogs. You should just put a price on the prints and if people want it, they will pay. And if they are made to order it should be a no lose situation. I think when the legacy line came in, it sparked a lot of people’s nostalgia, it certainly did mine. I watched Dinocharge with my kids but they have moved on to something else now and with the LC line, MMPR is well over saturated and not much new coming out for the adult collectors and no new show out for the kids to get into just now. I think they way everything is released with preorders etc and some people get it before others doesn’t help build excitement or hype anymore also.

Your displays look great! I'm sure you saw, we've got our dark dimension set listed, and then we have another cool thing coming after that. Mia still has her command center and Rita's palace stuff, but for selling she goes back and makes changes to make the files easier to work with for people printing on their own, so, that ends up taking a lot longer (she also creates detailed instructions). But, those things we still plan to have coming. So far I don't really have any LC figures displayed anywhere, I'll have to find space for a new shelf for that.

Never heard of them, looks like the nearest one to us is about 30 mins. They look good. Mia and I have had some amazing donuts in our day... but we just had Curiosity Doughnuts in Furlong... so far those were unlike anything we've had before. They were pretty amazing. We'll have to try Duck now too. If you're in that area, I recommend Curiosity (they have weird hours though and sell out, the first time we tried to go they were sold out.)

Been a while since I watched your videos. I have been trying to knock off some life goals over the past year. Im not shocked that you cant keep this channel going on here, I have seen how aggravating and frustrating this has been since people only seem to want power rangers. I see that rug still isnt fixed... I barly buy lightning collection figures new anymore since it mostly all goes to clearances, money has been tight for all of us lately.

I think the big problem with power rangers right now is kind of similar to power rangers back at the end of the disney era. We haven't had any announcements or anything happen in months. We're in the typical fan doom and gloom days but I'm guessing we'll hear more soon.

I feel like power rangers and it's entirely has gotten more more less popular over the years due to the direction of how it's been handled becoming more traditionally like an actual kids show and less of like a show that can be shown for everyone. The comics seem to give it some sensibility, but on average as for the physical shows themselves they've have been incredibly lack luster. Super Sentai and Kamen Rider have always found a way to formulate a feel to keep their shows very popular to foreign audiences so much and so that I feel in my opinion has been more known than even the Americanized version. All we need to do is take power rangers more seriously and put it in a direction that can feel up to date and more mature in a way where it almost matches that Blockbuster cinematic feel but on a low budget. The MCU when it first started before it fell off seemed to have found a formula For direction and was very popular for the first ten years. Old fandom Nostalgia is one thing, but keeping new viewers attentive is another.

to answer your "is power rangers done" question. still love the franchise, I sadly let depression and toxic father in law rob me of a sizable (for me) collection that I'll never get back. and of what I do still have kind of only serves to remind me of the stuff that was lost. oh well. once a ranger always a ranger.
