I believe Thats why they call the show. They do not think they are responsible for the dysfunction. @@Dontarguewithme.I don’t think this session was about placing blame on the sister but them making her realize just as proudly as you are to have saved your younger sister, you also subjected her to repeated violations at the hands of your boyfriend in an environment you created and controlled. @Dontarguewithme.8 ай бұрын
@@msawmusic I understand what your saying, but I think they both are products of being raised in a very dysfunctional environment. What kind of mother would allow her 17-year-old to raise her 14-year-old? The mother is solely to blame for this one. It's easy to look at them at their big ages now and say the older sister is to blame but we got to remember the older sister was only 17 at the time. I expect a 17-year-old to make bad decisions regarding the safety of a 14-year-old. I'm more concerned of how a mother could think a child that was 3 years older than her 14-year-old could raise her😳
@msawmusic8 ай бұрын
@@Dontarguewithme. yes I agree the mother (and father) are the most to blame. However the ask of Iyanla in this process was to amended the relationship between sisters. That requires them to address what they’ve specifically done to each other. That has nothing to do with their parents.

@@msawmusic if most of the tension between them occurred when they were both under 18 it has everything to do with their parents. I think that's the reason why nothing really got resolved.
