At 18 yrs old I was driving a mk1 fiesta 1.3 s Slammed, straight through home made exhaust, with cherry bomb on the end,,, VERY LOUD,, omg it was soooo loud 😆, Then I moved onto a series 1 escort Rs turbo ( still own it to this day ) And for everyday use I have a fiesta mk6 Zetec s tdci 👍, and I'm 39 yrs old lol... NO I won't grow up... 😜 great car

My first car? A Mk5 Ford Cortina...yep, I'm old! Passed my test at 17 back in 1989! I had it lowered, full Janspeed exhaust and Sierra XR4 alloys. I also sprayed it in grey primer with blacked out lights. Hey..I was 17 and loved it! Exactly what I was thinking, that kid is not declaring his mods and so driving around with no valid insurance. If he declared those mods his insurance is minimum £4-5k a year.

If he crashed he'd be fine. They'd charge for the damage to another car (if applicable) and then they'd give a small percentage of how ever much the car is worth. At the end of the day the car is worth less than the insurance so might as well

Just got my zetec s a month ago. i cant see why you would do visual mods on it when it looks nice stock. i saw one black zetec s and the owner got the plastic trims painted yellow and put a batman sticker where the ford badge would be. still on sale after a month now. may get my mirror covers, door strip and handles colour coded and seen some zetec s door sill protectors. the last owner put HIDs in so may get them aligned in the MOT centre to be certain they dont blind anyone.

To be fair I'm 23 just bought the mk6 zetec s tdci as my second car and it has been remapped to 120bhp and my insurance is only £1000 with it declared so if he has gone with the right company then he has done well, very nice example, awesome!

Thomas Middlebrook have a mk6.5 fiesta zetec s 1.6 TDCi also. Nice cars they are. Managed to get it with factory rear tints, front heated windscreen (which don't work), electric mirrors, part leathers and red dashboard. Was told it had a mountune remap but sadly contacted mountune and they said they have no information about it being mapped so might of been lied to. Other than that do enjoy it

I used to have the zs when I was 18. Brilliant car the chassis handles so well! Worth noting man he's also smoothed the front wings and had the side indicators put in the wing mirrors. Awesome mod though! Love the videos too man!

2 years back I got my mk6 fiesta zetec s. Standard zetec s model with the 1.6 diesel engine. Really like it but don't know how long I can keep it as its compliant to the ULEZ charge which might expand to my area in 2021

i own one of these really fun daily. cheap on everything with enough power to keep a smile on your face. really fun in the twistys. colour coding is a must on these cars as is the sony headunits. i had a mk5 zetec s which was awesome then moved on to a mk1 leon cupra then came back to a mk6 zetec s which says a lot lol

They are decent cars and are getting pretty cheap. I have a zetec s 1.6 diesel and its decent. Try to get it with a few optional extras like part leather or full leather seats, factory rear tints and electric mirrors 👍.

Had a MK5 Fiesta Zetec-S back in the day, great little car! Bit boomy with the modified exhaust though haha. If you get a chance to do a review on a MK5 Zetec-S go for it!

Don't under estimate, I had a look. At insurance for a Ford Fiesta zetec s and it's about 1,500 to 2,000 and that's with all mod and a turbo. fiestas are cheap cars to insure

They are ok. It Doesn't deserve an the S badge though. In the past I easily outran one of these in a EP2 SE 4 door. (vtec single cam) and out cornered it to.

I think the S badge is just there referring to the sporty looks. The zetec s comes in either a 1.6 petrol (100hp) or diesel (90hp) engine and these 2 engines ain't even exclusive to the zetec s model. They are also in the zetec and ghia models. Really the zetec s is for people who want a sporty looking car with decent power and cheap running costs. I have zetec s 1.6 diesel and running costs are low, road tax is just £30 and get 50mpg on 30mph roads. Would be fun to get an ST but i look at running costs. Might get it remapped to 120hp later in the year :)
