Enjoyed the video Jamie, absolutely love the Mk6 Zetec S, had one as my first car back in 2016. Completely agree with what you said, cheaper to buy, run, insure and tax compared to an ST. Brilliant first cars, loved the 1.6 engine - it was nice revvy and good fun on B-Roads. Pretty sure you can pick these up under £1500 (sold mine for around £1200 in 2018). You can save a lot of money with one of these over financing a newer Fiesta/Corsa which seems commonplace. 1.6 n/a engine is brilliant for a first car - nice and revvy completely different to modern engines.

Got my zetec s for 4 years too. Regarding the st wheels did you have to change anything or was it just a simple wheel swap? Or did u have to do any modifications to make them fit? Cheers

They fit well but you must put the right profile tire on. Mine rub ever so slightly on extreme full lock right but who drives a car on extreme full lock anyway? I've heard different stories it varies from car to car but none have ever said no don't do it.

I'm 29 and I've got Number 18 in yellow, I love it. My old ST150 was a bit more exciting however I get more looks in the 30th rather the ST150, Focus ST is the one I want in the near future

the colors of a anniversay or celebration edition is so much better than all the ''basic'' ST colors like: black, white, grey, blue and red. yellow and green are just fantastic to see.

@@charliehd6870 cool 👌. I think I got mine in 2017 when I got 2 years no claims on my little Peugeot 107 I had previously. Almost as cheap on fuel but much more powerful. Was thinking of getting it mapped but with the London ULEZ extension I'm September need to see if my job is not within the zone otherwise that will be £25 a day driving in the zone and would need to replace it 😥

Only started driving at the start of this year, and my first car was one of these anniversary editions, mine is a yellow one, number 228, and manged to insure it with no blackbox, and yes its modded. Absolutely lovely car and couldn't recommend any other cars for your first car, also its nice when people come up to you at the petrol station to compliment the car 😂

Honestly, I own a St150 and the chance I get to use the extra performance around town everyday (I.e 0-60, wheelspin, 130mph top end, terrified) is very rare, and I should have bought a zetec s. Its really only snobbery that I enjoy my ST150.

They are cool cars. I got the normal zetec S but with the diesel engine as I wanted something with sporty looks and cheap running costs. Fun little cars to drive in. If the ULEZ extension comes in in September and my job is within the zone I might see if I get the celebration model

Think if i wanted a 100hp 1.6 id much rather a saxo vtr 1.6 8v with 100hp and less weight sounds much better to me and probably cheaper to buy maintain and modify also.

@@ZAINALI-xm8ln ah fuck more modern cars just makes them worst really harder to work on more expensive to maintain mostly ect ect. Also I personally don't think the fiesta even looks as cool. And the saxo would be perfectly fine to daily but any petrol head would likely prefer the fun factor and less weight and ease to work on of the saxo than the fiesta i would think so anyway. And cheaper to buy ive seen the vtr's go for 400 before in fine condition.

Only if it has the Zetec s or ST front bumper. It won’t fit a standard 1.25 bumper.

@@jamesg895 thats good to hear, im gonna ring my motorbike insurance up as I have 1 year ncb from my moped and my mate was able to get it transferred with the same insurance as mine so I'm going to see how much it drops, dont think it drops it much but they don't do blackbox
