Why these are so rare is beyond me. Why would people option the e gear over this at the time? I've driven an 05 e gear and was not impressed at all with the trans. The manual is timeless. Same thing happened with the Ferrari California. You could option it with a gated manual but only TWO people did. And of course now they're worth 3 times what the flappy paddle cars are. Even if it's slower in a straight line\track who cares. All about the experience.

I have an 06 Spyder manual gated 6 speed and have had it for 6 years and really like it. It is a lot more engaging to drive than the paddles. Car is reliable just changed the clutch once and that's it. Enjoy its a good car you can drive hard. God Bless be safe.

Eddie helped make vehicle virgins what it is today. Parker still uses Eddies cinematic and review style when he reviews cars. Eddie was there when vehicle virgins was nothing (go and watch early VV videos). Yet parker had no qualms about throwing Eddie away when it suited him.

Great car! Congrats! I sold my 1991 NSX to get a 2005 yellow manual Gallardo ....so I think you have taken the right decisión for The best possible car. From 14.000 Gallardo produced only 1350 units were manual....and these 1350'are the last manual lamborghini in history

I watch you for your videos, not to see you have beef with Parker that you need to get over. +DracoRemixer mentioning that car specifically is fully justified because it is the cheapest Gallardo available for several reasons. It is widely agreed that it is the worst Gallardo due to many issues, one of which is the e-gear transmission. Updates for later model years addressed it by changing gear ratios and making it so the clutch wouldn't burn out in like 5000 miles. This discussion was completely valid and any assumptions being made are yours to make.

EddieX I'm aware of the e-gear's clutch issues, but that still doesn't change the fact that you look bad with your bashing, especially since you mentioned the specific model year (even if it was improved later on). Instead of focusing about how bad the e-gear is and calling it crappy (even if it's true), write about the manual and how it is considered the best spec because of [insert arguments]. Then at least I would feel that it's more about giving us viewers useful information, and less about pointing out how stupid Parker was to get one.

Thanks for posting. Nice car. I have 2004 manual and it has been great. No issues! However, no front end lift that sucks but you can work around it most times. I recommend any manual Gallardo at this point.
