Well, certainly an unusual and quirky view of Oxford. However, as a post-grad of Merton College, and now retired Oxford academic, it is a view that I found quite exhilarating and interesting to watch. I was last in Oxford in 2017, so your flight is fairly up to date, and one can clearly see some of the less than sympathetic new building that a number of colleges have embarked on, and probably will survive only a comparatively few years ! Very well done - now if only you had chosen some more suitable period music :)

@@ABC_DEF Oh, I could possibly suggest Haydn`s Oxford Symphony perhaps, reasonably appropriate as an initial idea - and yes, I am well aware of the age of Oxford University :)

Beautifully done video, great views! But what does Oxford have to do with Franz Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody? I fail to see the connection. Why not a British composer, or even Joseph Haydn?
@drewtube50316 жыл бұрын
I see nothing wrong with using Liszt. It adds a little drama. BTW, I studied at Corpus back in the '70s.
@haydenbarnes51105 жыл бұрын

Curiously reluctant to venture north of Broad Street. Hence no Wadham, Trinity, Balliol, St John's or Worcester. Still, really good, once one had worked out how to get rid of the "Subscribe" panel.

Was your editor rejected by Magdalen?... because the editing marginalised the college with it's celebrated tower, and it's quad, New Building, deer park, and acres and acres of nature walks. Footage of Christ Church, on the other hand, dominated the film, when it should have featured the world class High Street as the architectural glue binding the colleges together. It was, one must admit, interesting.
@ABC_DEF6 жыл бұрын
Yes, there was a strange refusal to go anywhere east of University College or north of Broad Street. The camera kept moving from Merton to Radcliffe Square and then scuttling back to Merton again, sometimes via Christ Church and sometimes not.

Oxbridge isn't an actual place. Oxford and Cambridge (about 90 miles apart from each other) are traditionally the two best Universities in England. Oxbridge is a phrase used to combine the two.

Amongst the unsearchable works -- skillful Science and Technology -- of white man I seen, Oxford Unity and its Flights amazed beyond expression. In fact till now I do wonder how why somebody, somewhere yet allows his heart debate against western education. Without the action of western education I personally believe that by now God Himself would regect of bringing the world into existence. Tell me, how would the earth, by now, look like if there were not the western education. How should we manage to get rid of primitivity and the rest of woes which all are officiated of the black books so-called books of God! The first people or scholars who had their full education in the Oxford University were able to make us understand that it only by the western education the scientific instruments and otherwise properties of the Oxford University were discovered, invented and manufactured. On one particular day, I had some view of the formate (the structural former) of the Oxford university and I wonder how humans were able to feature out the achtectural work of the University. It was later then when I came in contact with The Living God of Israel, through His eternal Son Jesus Christ, so that I study the Bible about the unswarchable, intellectual ability, by which God brought the earth into existence, I hor the secret by the white man was able to feature out the structural formats of the Oxford university. The Bible, if never removed from the earth for as long as God would tarry the second Advent of Jesus Christ, I believe more scientific skills are yet there to be reveal by the Bible by which the entire world is going to be built and developed, from more to more. Truth be told, the Bible, by its divine guide and supernatural revelations, is the Bedrock of the science, technology and otherwise skills through which the eventions of the earth are discovered, evented and built today. And all of this manage to come into the practical manifestattion, through restless researches of the white man. I bless God for this and give appraisal to the white.
