I agree with you Oli with all you have said. I'm Mexican and I remember when I started to speak English I was so afraid about making mistakes and that stopped me from speaking. I was usually nervous and shy, but over time I felt more confident when I spoke English with foreigners. Really I lack fluency in English because I ponder over using correct words and grammar, in spite of being aware of the fact that people hardly care for them. Your lesson helped me a lot. Often I get confused with using correct grammar like "Were the classes taken today?" instead of "The classes were taken today ? "

The thing is, if you get out and speak to people more, your grammar and vocabulary will improve automatically in a more natural way. You'll hear how other people speak, and you'll also learn to avoid mistakes which make you difficult to understand. Worrying about language doesn't help; practising does!

Sir, I have the same problems while speaking English . Sometimes while speaking I think of certain words that I need to use next , but I get so much worried that I mess up the whole conversation .
