This is absolutely the best presentation method for learning this song. Just straight to the point and enough to get this down quickly and easily. Thank you so much for such an excellent video.

Your style is so complex and full, yet approachable. I totally dig the way you play, then do the tabs with the moving bar. A beginning-intermediate really has a chance to work on those classics of our youth. I just hope I live long enough to get the basics and play them recognizably. Mahalo Plenty.

What a great song of Santana. Great lesson Buddy. So strange, the ads at the beginning was a snowmobile, and when I woke up this morning, everything was white outside. Just received the first snow of the season. I wish my mother was a Jamaican 😂. Have a great week mate. Mike ✌️

Hello and thnx a lot for your visit to my channel. For this song I used Turbo overdrive, a bit delay, a bit chorus, reverb and colored the tone on my amp with the treble and bass.

Hello and thnx a lot for your visit and nice comment. My gear: Guitar: Fender American Stratocaster Amp: Fender Princeton 112 Plus Effects: Boss GT3 effects processor For this song I used Turbo Overdrive, reverb, a bit chorus, a bit delay and on my amp I tweaked the treble and bass to color the tone. I also used the neck pickup on my guitar for a warmer sound. Hope this was a bit helpful. PtG

Again I love your tabs and performance but I did notice a mistake on the tab. Right at about 2:48 or 2:49 - you show on the 2nd string sliding from 8 to 7th fret. However you play it ( and it should be) sliding from 6 to 7th on the 2nd string. As I was learning the song I kept playing that part over and over until I figured out what was going on...:-)
@PlaythatGuitar10 ай бұрын
Hello and thnx a lot for your input. I've analyzed your statement(because I make some mistakes in the tabs once in a while) but in this case the tabs match the playing at the point that you mentioned. It's not a slide frpm 8 to 7the fret. That I would have described as 8 \ 7. (I still have to make a video about all the symbols that I use). There are 2 slashes. One / means sliding up and one \ means sliding down. In the section that you've mentioned I play the note on the 8th fret with my pinky and after that I slide from an undefined point (but here on the 6th fret) to the 7th fret. I hope this clears it a bit up and your input is more than welcome. :-)) All the best. PtG

I like the idea of learning truly classic songs with adherence, respect, and in some cases, pure reverence, for the original. But as everyone knows, the beauty of music is interpretation, and in variations….and then there are just sloppy players like me😀 Great lesson!
