A very interesting theory I think that when the brothers went downstairs, knowing that Oz would not be able to come down, he took it as humiliation and ridicule. Add to that the jealousy that already existed, and now the door has closed. If you look at Oz without sympathy, then just as a person, then this is a disabled child who was born defective = huge complex. No one has bet on him since he was born, which is why he wants to succeed so much.

Yeah, I thought in the beginning his mother turned him to what he is because she's manipulative and bitter. Turned out she was a nice woman, and he was the one that turned her to be like this, he caused her the trauma of losing her sons and that messed her up and turned her bitter. Crazy how that's exactly the opposite from what everyone assumed watching the first episodes. That's good writing.

They already said this is a limited series. And that's how i love! A perfect end which doesn't need any more milking. If anything they should make other spin off shows around Gotham based on other institutions or persons which gives an even more unique perspective of situation of Gotham on ground level, not just from Batman side. I wish that GCPD or Arkham show idea might get revived again as limited series.

So this proves that Oz was rotten to the core to begin with. This show really did a great job at making you think he was a great man up to this point. Taking Victor under his wing and becoming a father figure to him and after watching the final episode it just took the rug out from under you. Oz is in it for himself and himself only. Everything and everyone else are just a means to an end.

It is clear that Oz was jealous of his brothers because his mother paid little attention to him and while she paid all her attention to the others. Now he had everything he wanted with his mother, my hatred for Oz grows and let's hope that today is not the exception 😡👍

It wasn't even true though, it was pretty clear she loved them equally from the scenes we were showed. She made sure to watch a movie with Oz when she thought he was neglected by the brothers. And she didn't rudely brush him off when he barged into her work, she humored him until the brothers ran into the room. Oz thinking she loved them more was purely in his head, which makes the entire thing even more tragic.
