Ozaki Wagyu beef dish at 2 Michelin star Werneckhof By Geisel, Munich

Anyone walking between the bourgeois facades of the Werneckstrasse in Munich's Schwabing district would expect a well-kept Bavarian restaurant behind the name Werneckhof by Geisel. But once inside you will discover a truly unique experience, combining a European and Asian cuisine.
Master of this culinary conviction is Tohru Nakamura, a Munich native with Japanese roots. Together with his team he serves a modern cuisine with influences from national and Asian culinary culture. Tohru is a purist, high-quality products are the most important and the chef puts special touches with lots of different aromas. But the essence always stays the nature of the main ingredient.

Kram Sivad usually these types of restaurants sell a six or eight or 12 course menu, with no options. This would be one of those courses. But, you could also go to an American style steakhouse like Ruth Chris or Peter Luger and spend the same $150 for a 18 ounce ribeye with crabmeat topping and lobster mac & cheese. Both are enjoyable experiences. You don't go to Michelin star rated restaurants, concerned about the price.

I believe there’s many more courses, there’s a place around here that has 11 courses meal. If u have ever had Wagyu before u would know that u really can’t eat a whole steak, it was to rich. If I’m just sitting down eating a steak I wouldn’t want wagyu either, I’d take a nice 16-18oz porterhouse any day.

There's absolutely no shame in going to a restaurant like this and then getting a pizza afterwards. No shame. You go to a place like this to taste refinement, not to get full. It's filling a different appetite. It's like going to an opera or orchestra or museum. It's not serving the same need at seeing Avengers. But that said, you'd be surprised how full you can get on a multiple course meal.

Why do people always fail to understand that this is just one of 5-9 plates plus drinks that you have with a meal like this. And most of that food is very rich and has plenty of calories combined. Id like to see then take their entire meal and put it all on one plate, just so people stop with these same stupid complaints because they can’t comprehend a meal with more than 1-3 courses.
