Harmless garter snake, but in the Ozarks the snakes will come out even in winter if the weather's warm. The only ones that might be harmful are the cottonmouths, but they tend to hang out near larger bodies of water. As usual, just leave them alone and they won't bother you.

Good thing you didn't have to cross that big river. It looked nasty. Sorry to hear about the stomach issue. Did it pan out? I've been on a visit to TX to see my sister for a few weeks so got behind on your videos. Snakes are evil and have been around a long time...just ask Adam and Eve! LOL John from MI P.S. Can't go wrong with M&Ms but I like M&M Peanuts.
