Dude you just taught me something!!!! I’ve been putting the rain fly on at the end for like 10 years.

I wanted to say thank you so much for this video! I'm an avid camper and was in the market for a new tent. I purchased this one after watching your video. Thanks also for the tip on the rainfly. It made things so easy:) I camp by myself and this thing is a dream to put up. It was five minutes including the rainfly and probably another five minutes hammering stakes. I had originally purchased it for the screen room when bugs are bad but the added benefit is being able to sit inside the tent when it's raining with the doors open:)

I have this tent and it's great.. Some of my tricks I use .... I put a tarp over the mesh, then add the rain fly for warmth... And I hook cheap shower curtains around the screened in porch when it rains... Plus use indoor/outdoor carpets in the screened in area to keep the dirt out of the tent.. It all works well.... Good video. Have fun camping

Hey guys, thanks for this video! I bought this tent and set it up in the back yard with my 9 year old granddaughter's help. I haven't actually camped in it yet. The problem I have is when we took it down its way too big to fit into the bag. I tried to fold it twice, but evidently didn't do it right. Can you PLEASE show your process for taking it down and folding it!? I'm about ready to cut my losses and get rid of it!
@DeanoOutDoors2 жыл бұрын
Your welcome. Don’t give up, you need to fold in the four outside corners first. Then continue folding what you just did into the main center structure. Squeeze out the air and place into your carry bag. It’ll take two people to get this tucked in enough to get the bag zippered up. Take your time and you should get it. If I get a chance, I’ll try and get a video out on this process. Once you get it, it’ll go easy the next time. Happy camping!

Have you unzipped the bottom of the tent bag?

This is one of the best tents we owned. So far zero water leaks in heavy rains and it super easy to setup. I hope you have the same results ands many memorable camping trips 🏕️

I know this is an older video but on the chance you still have an answer for me! About how much room would be left in the tent if I put a queen size air mattress inside? I want to have enough space for two folding chairs and a table! It’d be nice to have a spot to eat when it rains! Last time we had to sit in the air mattress to eat 😭
@DeanoOutDoors Жыл бұрын
You’d still have almost half of the area left. We used a Queen and single mattress and still had room left for totes and clothes.

Do yall know where I can buy the top tarp piece for the tent. I lost mine?

That’s a great question! I been looking for the canopy for this tent but haven’t found one yet. If you happen to locate one, be sure to let us know, thanks!!

How do i get it back into the bag. It's so hard
@DeanoOutDoors Жыл бұрын
Yeah, it takes two people. One squeezing out the air and the other zippering. There should be a zipper on the bottom of the storage bag that you can unzip. That will allow for a little more space if needed.

Nice video! How is it holding up after multiple uses?
@DeanoOutDoors2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! This has been one of the best tents we've owned so far. We went thru some pretty rough storms with high winds and it held up great, no leaks either. The screened in porch makes it nice as an added bug stopper as well.

Does it come with room separator sheet?

Yes, it does have the room divider. I kinda forgot to show that in the video, I had never used it.

Do you usually use those guylines on the rainfly or not really? I have this tent myself and it doesnt seem to make much difference
@DeanoOutDoors3 жыл бұрын
I just recently removed them from the rain fly completely. I haven't used them one time and find them a nuisance when installing and removing the rain fly. I see no benefit in using them unless you're camping in an area with extremely high winds. I've camped through some pretty rough storms without a problem. Enjoy your next camping adventure!

What size tarp did you get for it??
@DeanoOutDoors2 жыл бұрын
We used a 12x14 tarp. A 14x14 would actually be better, it would cover the entire screened in area that way. This tent has been amazing, been thru many storms with no leaks. Happy camping 🏕️
@ohduana67462 жыл бұрын
I was hoping they'd have the tent floor extend out to the screen room :-/
@DeanoOutDoors2 жыл бұрын
Yes, that would be nice. We put a small throw rug in front of the door and have a tarp under the tent which extends into the screened in area.
@missy289962 жыл бұрын
Does it keep you warm ?
@DeanoOutDoors2 жыл бұрын
It's not insulated, but we put a heater in the tent on cooler nights and cover up some of the top screen mesh. It'll stay pretty warm that way.
