There’s nothing more pleasing to my ears than the sound of happy children giggling and laughing! Sarah, you are such a giving young lady. Your Mama has taught you well. I loved it when either Abigail or Anna (haven’t learned to tell them apart yet! ) gave Rebecca a couple of bites of her pudding pop. How unselfish of her. Also, even baby Rebecca did not whine and cry for some before she got hers. Truthfully, I don’t know any children, and to say the least an entire family, who behave, love, share etc like these precious children do. This is what God and honest, patience and loving leaders create and bring up. To be honest, I wanted about 5 children and dogs. Unfortunately, I was unable to have kids. However, Shawn (not sure how he spells his name) and you, Janice, have and are doing an outstanding job. Somehow, I know my children would not have held a candle to your kids behavior…because I don’t hold a candle to you. As you follow Christ your children follow you. Love you every one….every smiling face on your Homestead. ❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰 👧🏽 🧒🏻 👦👧🏽👧🏽🧒🏻🧒🏻

Loved watching Sarah make the pudding from scratch. I remember watching my Mum make it from scratch. I'm embarrassed to say, I have never made it from scratch. Always believed I was too busy, but truth be told, I just didn't want to take the time. Working fulltime and raising my 3 littles, I just wanted to spend my time off with them. It never occurred to me to have them assist in the kitchen when they were young. As they got older, they got busy with sports and other fun activities so it seemed we were always on the road. We found it easier to just buy the ready made pops in the store. My littles are all in their 30s now so I will just enjoy watching your littles as they laugh and eat their pudding pops. Again, thanks for sharing your family with all of us. ❤

Such a cute video, Sarah is a sweetheart 💖 lovely seeing the kids enjoy the treats she'd made for them. Oh I hope you don't mind but just a little tip with filling the popsicle moulds, if you don't have a piping bag you could try using a clean plastic bag as a piping bag & pipe your mixture into the little moulds. Much love to your dear family! ❤

Thank you, Sarah, for demonstrating how to make pudding pops. I made these for my children when they were small. I have the same cookbook too. Love your name Sarah since it was my grandmothers name also. Here is a tip from an 80-year-old, put the pudding in a glass measuring cup with spout and pour in each mold. I spent so many summers making these for my children and their friends that I had to find a shortcut to do them. I am an old dairy farm gal so you bet I celebrate Dairy month! First time watching, you have a lovely family.

You know, I hadn't noticed anything, but once I read your comment, I had to go check for myself. I think you're absolutely right!! The orthodontist made her two front teeth protrude further when he was fitting her mouth for an appliance several years ago and I do think they've already moved back into a better alignment already. That is definitely exciting. Thank you so much for being an encouragement to our family. It really means a lot! :)

Being a child from the 80's, pudding pops and jello pops were a fun summer treat! I love that you made them from scratch instead of using the box pudding mixes. I'm going to try these soon. I really enjoy watching Sarah cooking baking or gardening. She is such a blessing. My mother has made pudding pops for as long as I can remember, I'm now 57yrs old. She has several sets of popsicle molds from Tupperware, and also gifted me some to use as my children grew. My only suggestion would be to either tap your mixture before placing the caps or take a chopstick or a skewer and try to get out as many air bubbles out. Your family is a pleasure to watch.
@buckeyedav1
@buckeyedav1 Жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing if you tap the mold after filling on the counter it will take the air bubbles out. Well done you can also make these with a package of pudding mix even get the sugar free version mix though I am sure they are no where near as good as these. Anna In Ohio

Sarah is a gem. How is she doing with her braces? I had horribly gapped teeth as a kid and got braces at 13. My mom was a single parent and had to get a payment plan to get them for me. I’m 41 and to this day I’m still so thankful for my mom investing in me like that. I never recall disliking my braces because it was just a sign that my teeth would be better soon. I hope Sara isn’t in too much pain and is excited for the journey to 😬

We have five daughters and I am trying to hold off on getting their braces until they can all get them together for those that need them (if this is even possible) to limit the trips to the dentist. That is the hardest thing for us because it is a long drive. I have been planning how we would afford braces on our children ten years before they were born. I didn't get braces because I didn't want my parents to have to have financial struggles because of that. I wish I would have taken them up on the offer and been slightly selfish. I also have Trauma still from a horrible pediatric dentist so my history is not good with them. Thankful for a great pediatric dentist for our girls now though.
