LARGE FAMILY Biscuits and Gravy - Feeding My SEVEN Children

It takes a lot of food to feed our family of nine! We make a double batch of biscuits from scratch and a double batch of sausage gravy from our own cow's milk. We also scramble up 26 eggs from our own chickens. There's chaos in the kitchen with all the younger children, but we end up with a delicious meal in the end!

Mom & Dad you are raising children well. The love that is in every video is just not seen as a "norm" anymore. The young men will grow up to be good husband's & fathers. As for the girls, Sarah is such an amazing young lady. She and the other girls will learn from their parents the skills necessary to maintain a good welcoming home. I'm a subscriber, and I love every video I have already watched. I plan to make the lasagna soup, French bread, and the pizza dip already. Thank you so much for nice, wholesome videos to learn from.

@@ozarkfamilyhomesteadI have never ever seen gravy made with milk before! I’ve never seen biscuits made like this either! Our biscuits always have sugar in them. @@DevonLass This whole KZbin experience has definitely helped me to see how differently we eat in various parts of the world! I've figured out now that our biscuits = your scones. I also now know that our cookies = your biscuits. I've been told that our cookies are still slightly different than your biscuits though. My understanding is that your biscuits are often crispier in texture whereas our cookies are usually soft/chewy. I really think it's neat! :)
@DevonLass
@DevonLass Жыл бұрын
@@ozarkfamilyhomestead yes, but we have biscuits AND cookies! Our cookies tend to be slightly crunchy around the edges and then slightly gooey in the middle. Our biscuits are much crispier. Do you have Oreo’s in America? (I’m sure Oreo’s were invented in New York). Oreo’s are just like our biscuits. I love your channel! I only started watching a few days ago, so I’m binge watching trying to catch up. I’m “liking” each of your videos as I watch them. Your family is adorable and you are such an amazing mum. When making her pie crusts or biscuits, my mom used the really old school way of using two knives and criss-crossing them. She was really fast with it, and even though she had a pastry cutter, it usually just sat in a drawer, shiny from never getting used.
