For indoor grows that exhaust outdoors, there are several solutions that involve an ozone generator running in-line on the exhaust duct that really do wonders on the smell while shielding the plants from ozone altogether. Zackman Scientific also sells an ozone generator on Amazon that has a 4” duct connector that can easily be incorporated with an exhaust setup as well.

This is all well and good until the Ozone generator fails when you least expect it;-) Thanks for the suggestion.

Interesting video... I have harvested and i saw a little mold on some of my buds....very little but still Can this be used to "clean" the moldy buds which i will then later use to make QWISO ? I would also run the extract trough 0.22 micron syringe filter, which should be enough to filter out the spores...

Killing the spores would be best and while this could be used a hydrogen peroxide product would be more effective.

I don't have a "grow room" but last year I grew a few plants, very successfully for my own use, in my 10 X10 basement room completely sealed off to everything except the entry door to access the room, no windows no vents, etc, all concrete. I had an LED grow light, a dehumidifier and a box fan with a charcoal filter mated to it for odor control and another box fan for air circulation. The only time I would go in was when I watered. Grow light was remote controlled. It was surprisingly simple although I had some fights with soil gnats and some powdery mildew but the end product was excellent. The only fail was odor control, especially during flowering. I'm trying to decide if a stand alone fan and filter(similar to what people use in a grow tent) would work vs a reasonably sized(???) ozone generator. The ozone generator is tempting. On the other hand, I might be able to create negative pressure with a fan/filter. Any advice would be appreciated.

Oversized carbon filter would be a better way to go for your set-up, this will improve air circulation and also reduce the odor. (See channel for more details on this.)
